Busy Weekend--

The Hotel was really nice and the location fit our needs for a main aspect of our visit. The room was nice and clean but there was an area beside the heater/AC where you could look directly into the adjoining room and see the edge of their heater/ac. As a result, the sounds from that room invaded our room. The "neighbors" had small children, so their screaming, crying and playing early in the morning and late at night were unnerving. We were there 3 nights, they were there 2. My back hurt each morning from the bed, but I have had back problems, so I can't judge whether it would be good for others. Overall--we enjoyed ourselves....

Not what we expected

The bed was so uncomfortable we barely slept the whole night. The tub was backed up and you had to stand in three inches of water. When we told the front desk they couldn't care less . Pool area or water park as they call it was laughable ! We expected SO much more with this company. Never again will we stay there. We ended up staying the next night at the La Quinta inn down the street, much better and the bed was great ! Best night sleep in a hotel . Do your self a favor and stay somewhere else.

Relentless Mind Renewal Conference

We got a queen suite that fit 4 adults and 2 children (with all their toys, pack~n~play, food, etc) so comfortably! We had plenty of room for the kids to play and eat. The pool was very nice for the kids and even us grown-ups had some fun even though it was only 3 ft deep. VERY nice place to stay!

Very Nice Staff, BUT...

The staff here was very nice but the decor is very outdated in the rooms. There was a general musty smell to the hotel and my room smelled like someone had been smoking cigars in a non smoking room. My eyes were burning a few hours into the evening. Location is very convenient --just needs a little "fluffing"

Dirty, Run Down and Poorly Maintained

I'm not a picky traveler, in fact, I've never written a bad review for any hotel before now. However, my experience at the Casper Ramkota was so terrible, I feel a responsibility to warn people before they make the mistake I did in staying here This hotel is poorly maintained and it shows. I will never stay here again and would recommend that all visitors to Casper avoid this hotel. The Service: I spent 15 minutes waiting in "line" to check in -which normally I could handle - except I was the first person in line, and there was another front desk clerk sitting on a stool doing while I waited. The Room: The room was quite small for $88 night however, the first thing I noted when I walked in was that the carpet had not been cleaned and somebody had left muddy footprints for me. The bathroom door didn't close which allowed cold air to draft in during my shower. Then the tub wouldn't drain, I discovered this 3 minutes into my shower when I had to shut off the water to avoid flooding the bathroom. I also discovered that the shower head was not properly affixed to the wall and copious amounts of caulk had been used to 'anchor' it to the wall. Further, the iron in the room didn't work, the sitting chair was broken, and when I tried to call the front desk with the room phone using the "front desk" button, I discovered the phone was broken as well. The Pool: Is inside, and for Wyoming, that's a good thing. However it's surrounded by a giant unsightly white fence with signs telling you to go to the "front desk" to obtain a wristband before entering. While this process wasn't painful, it seemed unnecessary to have to walk all the way to the front desk to obtain the wristband - I can't imagine that would be very fun I were someone who was uncomfortable wearing your bathing suit in public. The Finess Center: Lousy. It consists of an hotel room that has been "re-purposed" with a couple of ancient treadmills and a TV.

Great pool for kids

After a long, hard day on the road, the hotel experience was very pleasurable. The kids had a blast unwinding in the kid-friendly pool. It's perfect for little ones, complete w/ a couple of toddler-sized slides, but don't expect to swim laps. At the deepest it is only 3.5 ft, which is great for shooting hoops. Right off the pool is a nice sitting area where you can eat a bite or just chill. The room was your average hotel room, but very clean & many of the rooms have a small balcony that overlooks the indoor courtyard / pool. About the only downside is breakfast. Most hotels in this price range offer a free breakfast of some kind, but you won't find it here. There is a nice restaurant on the premises that serves a decent meal for a reasonable cost. For the money, it's one of the best hotels I've stayed at & we'll definitely book there again on our next trip through the area.
