The Comfort Inn hotel in Buffalo, Wyoming is on the route between Yellowstone National Park, and the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore, at the base of The Big Horn Mountains. Stroll the Clear Creek walking path into historic downtown Buffalo. This is the county that author Craig Johnson based his recent western novels on about sheriff Walt Longmire. This Comfort Inn sits at 4500 feet elevation. Summer evenings are cool and you are within walking distance to restaurants, ice cream parlors and observing our beautiful mountains. A free deluxe continental breakfast, including waffles, will be waiting in the morning.
