Best Ski In Ski Out Deal Anywhere
Grand Targhee is a hidden gem; on the other side of the Tetons. This place gets more snow than Jackson Hole Mtn Resort, less lift lines, and an all around chill vibe. The rooms were no frill, but clean and efficient. The MAIN complaint were the walkways, all wood and ski boots walking on them; it literally sounded likea herd of elephants walking outside, and it started at 7:30am. This could be avoided withe rubber mats being places in all outdoor walkways. Other than that, everything was great!

Closing for the Season
Since they were closing for the season there was limited selections in beverages. Claimed they were a non-smoking resort, yet there was only one no smoking sign visible and that was on the bar/restaurants patio. Not bad but definitely not a Holiday Inn. Probably a great place for skiing, but if visiting Jackson Hole it is about 45 minutes away through a winding canyon. The town of Driggs is closest and there is nothing there but one bar called the Royal Wolf that has awesome Hog Wings.

Grand Targee
This is a great place even in the off-season when we were there. The staff was great including the and maintenance man who provided insight on our next stop the Grand Tetons. Only downside is nothing else is around the sight.

nice hotel, bad location instruction
The hotel is nice with good view and hospitality service. If there is sign to indicate the location of the hotel, that would be better since the hotel is in the Park. It was difficult for the person who is the first time there.

Nice resort, distant for summer stay
It was very nice experience to stay at the mountain top. Staff were friendly and helpful, facilities were clean and ample. Breakfast was very good also. The only flaw I could bring was that the resort was on the very top of the mountain, at the end of the road. And the address on GPS was not accurate. Unless for a ski trip, 20 minutes driving each way from bottom of hill seems a little far.

This was an aweful resort!
This hotel is listed as a Jackson Hole area hotel. IT IS NO WHERE NEAR JACKSON!!!! The drive through the mountains was nerve wracking. We had to leave Wyoming, drive into IDAHO, and then back into Wyoming to get there! The hotel was not comfortable, not very clean, it had one restaurant that was costly, and nothing to do there.

The hotel is in a beautiful spot. Things are definitely slow in summer-the pool wasn't ready, the bar didn't stay open, etc. However the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the resort was awesome, as well as reasonably priced.
