The Mclure house was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. ... Very nice bathroom ,comfortable beds, adequate space for hanging clothes and they provided two suitcase stands. The location was very good -- it was 2 miles from Wheeling Island, with a free shuttle back and a very reasonable taxi to the Island.....very close.

The location was great. It was near restuarants, theater, and the track/casino. Parking in their garage was very ... convenient. The only draw back was that we were on the second floor right above the lounge and the band played until 2 am. It was hard to sleep to the beat of the drums.

If you plan on going to the Capital Music Hall it is one block over.

At check-in the staff on duty at the time was extremely helpful in providing a map along with a marker drawn course to my ... evening destination. My only complaint was that it wasn't easy finding the elevator.

Would not recomend to anyone. Hallways unfinished an dark with a smell. No Iron in rooms. Old building and upkeep not upto ... par.

The McLure Hotel is very convenient to the heritage trail walk which we take adavantage of because we walk every day and it ... also very close to Wheeling Island for poker and slots.

I chose this hotel because of the location to the downtown area. Love the free parking. Staff very friendly. Well kept up ... for an older hote. I would stay ther again in the future.

close to the casino. I took a cab and was only #3. This way I didn't have to drvie and find the casino. I could enjoy a drink and not have to drive.

this hotel is in the middle of a remodeling change ,that the manger,said souldm be done by end of summer. It is close to some ... of the sites in Wheeling, with easy driving to and from the main interstates.

Wheeling Downs Racetrack is only across the river and a few blocks ,they say you can get a cab for a couple dollars.
