What you would expect
Just a quick stop on the way to our final destination and it was exactly what I expected it would be. No frills, reasonable rates and anything you needed, e.g. food, groceries, WalMart, etc. was within walking distance.

Nice place to stay
We were attending a Fire Seminar at Jacksons Mill Training Academy. Only problem we had were bed an pillows were extra firm and hard to get to sleep on. Other than that all was well.

Clean, Reasonably Priced, Limited Access
I attended a conference and only used the room to sleep and clean up for the coming day. There was no elevator. I had to lug my bags up the stairs. This is a budget hotel and I had no special expectations.

McDonalds is next door, Kroger (grocery store) across the parking lot. Several other eating options are only a short walk. 24hr Sheets is two blocks away. Also a Walmart!

Not so good.
price was fine. The common areas were DIRTY. The carpets in the hallways and up the steps were covered in crumbs and other unidentifiable dirt. there were a family of spiders in my room. The continental breakfast was terrible. Bagels, but no cream cheese. Butter, but no bread for toast. I will not stay here again. If I need to stay in this location, I will probably stay at the Holiday Inn Express across the street, or the Quality Inn which is also nearby.

Pekins Buffet Chinese food was good and walking distance from hotel; there was also a Subway & McDonalds near.

Terrible Experience
Our problem with the first night was a miscommunication between Orbitz and the Super 8 Motel. We were told our credit card was invalid. We had to pay a second time for the same night and later get a refund through Orbitz. Orbitz charged us $20.00 more than the motel would charge us if we called on our own. Obviously we are not very happy. Orbitz only refunded what the Motel rate was and not what we paid in March when making reservations through Orbitz. The second night at Super 8, our room was not made up and my husband had a cold shower in the morning.
