Breakfast sub-par compared to the last few times we stayed at this hotel
We have stayed at this hotel several times while visiting my wife's grandmother. In the past the stays have been very good. This time the room and staff were still great, but the breakfast was dissapointing. The options were still the same, but the quality had gone down. We will probably be back, because the location is perfect for us, but we may do breakfast somewhere else.

Nearby Mall has all the stores, and theaters you would need for any shopping, several nice resturants, (Outback, Applebee's, Olive Garden, etc.), also nearby. Hotel located within a short walk from a Sam's club, which also aided in gasoline savings.

From now on I will check to see if they have a basketball turnament or baseball turnament going on. Way to much nose for the average person.

Pleasant Surprise
While the hotel isn't premium, all of the things that matter are covered. The king sized bed in our room was luxurious, as good as or better than our TempurPedic. We also had a mini-fridge and microwave but didn't make use of them. Minor flaws were the television didn't have a sleep control on the remote (I was able to manually access the feature through the on-TV buttons), no HD cable, and the bathroom faucet didn't extend far enough into the sink. This made it difficult to fill my CPAP reservoir or to simply wash my hands without bumping into the back of the sink.

Wyndham in Vienna WV
In town for business, stopped at the Wyndham for the evening. Nice room, fairly spacious but there was a lot of noise coming from the rooms around me. Could really hear all of the footsteps and doors opening and closing quite distinctly.

Great Hotel
We have stayed in Parkersburg before at the Blennerhassett, and this hotel room was just as nice as the Blennerhassett, for cheaper. This hotel also included breakfast, which the other does not. We did not spend much time at the hotel, but the shwers wee nice, the shower heads had great water pressure and different flow options, the towels were clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable!

3rd floor only!
We were in the area for sight-seeing and hiking (fall colors). This hotel is nice except for the thin floors/ceilings. We stayed for two nights, the first night we on the first floor and when our second floor neighbors arrived back to their room at 2:40 AM it woke us and kept us awake until they settled down. The second night after moving to the third (top) floor there was no problem. If you can't get a third floor room don't stay here. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory, good selection of beverages, waffles, cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage gravy with biscuits.

Great place with great price
Even though it is hard to see from the road it is well worth the effort. Parking around back is closer to the elevators. Great pool and jacuzzi. Very clean and staff is friendly.
