flawless stay in charleston

The rooms were amazing, spacious, spotless, with great little amenities- like gourmet single-serve coffee in your room. It ... was quiet, with very friendly staff. I like it so much that i convinced other people to leave their hotel and spend the rest of our business trip at this hotel. Breakfast was also great everyday! Can't say one bad thing about this hotel.

Wonderful breakfast. They have a waffle maker. They also had other breakfast items to please eveyone of every age. They had 24 hour free drinks.

Location was okay, rooms was small from the pictures I saw online.. Fan in bathroom didn't work. Sheets wa not changed on the ... beds when we got there, u could tell because there was hairs on the sheets and it looked as if they was layed in. The air conditioner buttons didn't work right, they just spun around and the air only worked on high and it would freeze u because u couldn't put it on low. 1 bar of soap, 1 bottle of shampoo, conditioner and lotion, not enough for everybody. The lights in bathroom was very dim. Floors was not swept, cobwebs in corners.the internet was slow as molasses. The fitness room flooded with water from the whirlpool. No swimming pool in hotel, they shared with ramada inn. not a very good stay. will go with someone else next time. Sorry, but u asked and u should know the truth. Thanks..

very hard to find any souvenirs. The Capitol is beautiful and and the multi-fest was alittle disappointment. Stores in walking distance, closed early. The barge resturant on the river would be nice to visit, we didn't get to eat there (nest time we will) found them when we was leaving, so ask around to find them.

I have stayed here a couple times. The service at check in was super. Room is nice and clean. Beds are average. There was ... road work going on behind the hotel but I was surprised that I didn't hear the noise in the room. Breakfast is average. The location is great for my business in the area. Free wireless is always a plus.

My wife and I were on our way back from vacation and wanted some place nice to stay. We checked on several hotels in the ... area and this was the best one for the price. Rooms were large and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel personnal were very helpful. Didn't feel safe in the location, but parked under a large street light in the parking ... lot and had no trouble. Breakfast buffet was outstanding -- lots of variety, including hot and cold. Free business center, and appreciated the laundry room, although the appliances are very old. Nice shower head. Stuffed chair and foot stool were badly stained in our room. Would have preferred a better location and updated facilities, but it doesn't look like South Charleston has many choices in hotels.

The hotel is very affordable. They offer free shuttle from airport to hotel and back. However, you would need to get taxi ... to get to downtown. If you plan to take day trips to parks/outdoor activities, it is best to rent a car from the airport.

White water rafting should be part of your itinerary. You would need a whole day for this. It is a little over an hour drive to the New River Gorge bridge area, where there are several tours providing this service. We did the Class VI. Their service was great.

There was 3 of us traveling. My mom has alzheimers which makes it a little stressful. The hotel manager gave me his card ... because i went out to get sandwiches(he gave me excellent directions) and wanted me to call him if i got lost or had any questions. Very helpful and the room was sooooo clean and comfortable . Pleasant experience

We are from St. Louis, Mo. and met friends there from Chesepeake, Va.. We had a great time, the only thing we really missed ... was an indoor pool for the kids, other than that we had a great time and would definitely stay there again.
