Good staff, clean , But NOISY-no sleep!!
The Good parts: Friendly staff, Very nice FREE continental breakfast-Waffle irons, apples and oranges, milk, coffee, cereal, pastries. Room was clean, good beds, hot shower, heater works really well- turn it off before going to sleep and room stays warm. Lots of dining optoins within walking distance. Not So Good: Fridge and microwave were not in room and not available to be added. Apparently these must be requested when making a reservation. Also indoor pool is cold. The BAD part:VERY NOISY-there is no sound barrier-could hear traffic from Main roads and people in rooms above and behind us- sounded like a construction zone. While my family was out and I was taking a shower, It sounded like a bunch of strangers were in my room talking LOUDY. Do not expect to get any sleep unless you can sleep with ear plugs. 20 miles from Winterplace Ski Resort.

Just OK
staff was great, but there are better hotels withing walking distance. i walked down to the hampton inn and ate breakfast because the breakfast at the days inn was not great. the doors to the rooms open to the outside, which should drive the price down quite a bit more vs the competition, but has not due to 'recent' renovations. not a great hotel for the price ...

Days Inn
They had no rooms with king sizes beds on first floor. Rooms were way too small for four people. The AC was too noisy.

Overnight stay on long trip
My wife and I were quite satisfied with this hotel. We were driving to Ohio from North Carolina and found ourselves caught in an unexpected ice storm in Virginai on I-77 and traffic was stopped for 3 hours while the road was salted. What should have been a 5 hour drive became 9 with a very tired toddler in the back seat. When we arrived at the hotel the staff saw how tired the three of us were and took care of us (getting us checked in quickly, asking if we needed help with our luggage, do we need a bay bed brought to our room). Also I can recommend this hotel for its location...it is right off the interstate and is surrounded by places to eat (Texas Roadhouse, Craker Barrel, Outback) and even has several area pizza places that deliver to your room if you don't wish to go out after arriving. This was our first time staying there but from now on we will be using this hotel whenever we travel back to Ohio and back home!

Extremely pleased!
The Days Inn Princeton, West Virginia was really quite nice. We (myself and my 4 & 7yr old) Were driving to North Carolina. I booked a room so the kids could swim and kids love hotels!! The check-in was quick and easy which is nice with kids running all over. We spent most of our time at the pool, It was nice and i didn't have a problem having my kids there. The rooms were Fine nothing was gross, nasty. I liked it so much i booked it for our return trip back home. Easy access to the Highway with alot of options for dinner etc in the area. The price was the the biggest draw for me, it was very affordable on a shoe-string vacation budget. I would highly recommend The Days Inn Princeton.

Great Location
Our stay at the Days Inn at Princeton, WV provided us with a comfortable stay for the short time we were able to be there. It was very convenient to the highway, and made our visit to relatives in Athens very time saving. We enjoyed the location, as it gave us many choices for meals. The many businesses were spread out enough so we did not feel jammed in one area. Our room served us very well for the one night that we needed. I felt the room had a musty odor from being closed up. Otherwise, it was clean, comfortable, and provided all we needed. The room was a very good size. There was plenty of space to unpack, dress, and not get into each others way. Everything we needed was right there in the room.
