Quick two night stay
The hotel and staff are not bad for the price. The staff was nice and friendly and I felt if I needed something they would have been happy to help. The hotel could just use some sprucing up. There was some grout missing in the shower, the comforter is very low quality, sheets not too bad. The TVs are old and mine made a very strange sound that almost drowned out the sound. Not a bad place to stay for a short visit, I have stayed at other low cost hotels in the area and this would be on the top of that list for sure.

There is only one alternative club in the area now, in the past they had three. It's in a safer area of town than the the previous one.

Our Run to the River
It was just an overnight stay from our motorcycle trip down to the Ohio River with 3 other couples and then back home next morning. The motel was a pleasant surprise! The best Red Roof we ever had.

Within 5min of checking in, I had to kill 2 giant bugs in my room. There were dents and black scuff marks on the walls, along with dirt all around the trashcan. The bathroom was not very clean at all. I cleaned it myself before getting into it. I would NOT reccommend this hotel unless you have low standards.

It's not the worst
This hotel isn't all that bad. You could go down the street and stay at the Knights Inn/Travelodge and save some bucks, but they are alot worse than the Red Roof. If you just need a place to stay for the night that's not all fancy, this will suit your bill.

Comfortable Stay
Room was clean and comfortable. Had everything we wanted including a fridge & microwave. We stayed there before and will definitely stay again. The rooms were a bit small for 4 adults, but we managed. Great room for the price!

Omelette Shop and Long John Silver's are the only two within walking distance. Have to drive to anything else you may want.

OK, I might stay here again sometime...
My main pet peeve is to give a single traveler more than just ONE bath towel. This was all in all a nice hotel, but there was a noticeable smell in the carpet. I loved the big TV set, but the reception/picture quality was poor. I had asked for a quiet room, because I don't make much noise and don't like to hear much noise, and I ended up next to some people who woke me up earlier than when I had planned to get up. All in all, this was a nice room. I would stay here again.

Most of the good restaurants are either 6 miles south on I-77 or you take 7th street into town, turn right in front of the hospital, then follow that main drag that runs between Parkersburg and Vienna. Nothing much to speak of in the way of food right at this hotel.
