Good staff
When we checked into our room my wife noticed a slightly musty odor, so we called the front desk and they gave us another room. The room was fine - comfortable bed, good plumbing. As in most motels of this type, the heating/cooling was very noisy. The bar was nice, the breakfast in the morning so/so. The staff without exception was very nice.

Needs a MAJOR update
Check-in staff was not helpful or informative. The main lobby was very dated and smelled funny. The elevator to the room was small, slow and smelled. The room was quite large, but in need of updating and it also smelled musty. The bathroom was so tiny and in desperate need of upgrading. The bar was entertaining and the free breakfast was alright, but nothing special. I felt the note telling us to tip our wait staff was a bit much....all she did was fill 2 water glasses and 1 cup of coffee. Thumbs down on ever staying here again.

great value for the price
spent 3 nights here during Mountainfest, 2011. What a great value--booked rooms online back in Dec so got a really good rate. The complimentary breakfast each morning was the best! Eat one of those and you are set for the day--not even hungry at dinnertime. One of the best complimentary breakfasts i ever experienced at a hotel!! Room was clean! Bed very comfortable. My only complaint....ummmm..ice machine was broke on our floor. Thats it!!!!

Dining tip:
In Hotel
They have a bar & grill in hotel that we were not able to find time to visit. (it has some strange hours,12:00-1:30 and then 5:00-9:00.) All i know is the menu looked scrumptious!

Southern Hospitality on a Hill!
We were looking for a hotel halfway between Cincinnati-Washington DC and a place that would permit a pet(s). The Ramada allowed pets, even placed us on the lst level very close to an outside entrance so our dog could be easily walked. They have lots of grass around the hotel making it easy to walk your pet(s). We felt very safe since the hotel is located on top of a hill, away from commercial businesses, but very easy access to the interstate. Staff was very friendly upon check-in and check-out. Room was large with a King size bed, nice tv, no refrigerator but they are available with additional deposit. We used ice from the convenient ice machine down the hall in our cooler. Bathroom was small but adequate and clean. Linens are clean and the air conditioner worked. Outside swimming pool looked well maintained. Hotel is not new but they do a nice job and we felt very comfortable. Staff is very nice, a few stopped to talk while we were in the hall. Breakfast is included and consists of cereals, sausage/bacon, biscuits, scrambled eggs, drinks and asst'd whole fruits. This hotel is a great value for the money. Yes, it may need to be updated but it's clean, maintained and a great value. The place was very busy with families, retirees, transit drivers, etc. They have a restaurant but we did not use it other than the buffet breakfast. We would definitely use this hotel again! It's hard to find a hotel that allows pets and will give you a non-smoking room as well. Thank you Ramada Staff in Morgantown WV for being so nice!

First time visit
The bathroom need to be up dated. Having you arm hitting the tp holder is bothersome. It should be mounted under the counter. The room was clean and neat. The bed in 206 was great. With back trouble sleeping was pain free. The breakfast was one of the best we have found. The people behind the counter and though out the property were friendly. Should we be in this area again we would not hesitate to stay again. Location to the interstate a plus.

A nice place to stay
Overall this hotel suited our needs just fine - We really just needed a place to sleep and shower. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Downsides were the walls are thin and could hear the TVs in other rooms. Had a couple of loud obnoxious drunks in the hall at 4:30 in the morning - but not the fault of the hotel. I like the option of reusing the towels (to save water) but there were no towel bars to hang the towels.
