Econo Lodge Morgantown

All good, but the breakfast was weak. Usually better at Econolodges. Justa little juice, bread, coffee, a few muffins, a bit of cereal. Shower didn't work correctly. Clean. Nice new TV. Very friendly staff.

Room was reported clean to us, upon our return at night noticed the mattress were stained as well as pillows. We were away on a roadtrip wiht the family and they were very disgusted we had to go buy sheets and pillows as we were not familiar with area to book elsewhere. The owners of this super8 in morgantown, wv should be replacing the bed skirts and have staff check the conditions of the beds that customers pay to sleep in. very unsanitary!!!!!

Staff was friendly. Room had musty smell. It was the only room in Morgantown , happy to get it.

At best, I would say this was a "no frills" kind of place. The location is desolate, amid closed down shopping centers and with only a couple chain restaurants nearby that weren't yet closed. My room smelled like someone had dumped canned spaghetti under one of the beds. The bedspreads looked like they had been in use for decades. A lampshade fell on my head, and the most convenient wall outlet didn't work. They didn't even provide Conditioner like most other Choice hotels do. I looked at the "continental breakfast." It consisted of a loaf of white bread, and a case of muffins and danishes that had been sitting in the same place when I checked in. But the place is pretty cheap, so I got what I paid for.

We were in Morgantown to attend a WVU Football game and you couldn't ask for a better location to stay. Very easy to get to the football field, several eating places nearby and a shopping mall all at the exit. Rooms were clean, could us some updating, but for the price and the location it is fine for a nights stay if you just need a place to sleep.

Our stay was great... We enjoyed the peace and quiet. It wouldve been nice to be able to have a late check out though since we had a late check in

The young man doing check-in at front desk service was very helpful and polite. The bathroom had a very bad paint job, needed a second coat as it took away from a nice looking bathroom. Had a non-smoking room and there was no smell, nor muskyness in the air. One big issue was as checking our an older manager looking type was outside arguing with one of the women who work there, this created an aquard moment and sghould have been handled quietly behind closed doors.

We came to Morgantown for the WVU Football game. The stadium is about a 5 minute drive from the Hotel. Immediatley upon arival to the hotel all we could smell was the musty cigarette smell. The staff at check in were very nice, and fast. I didnt sleep very well because the mattresses were old, smelly, and had burn holes on the comforter. Have stayed in many nicer places than this.
