Historic Downtown property. Business rooms, meeting room, ballroom and fitness room. Free continental breakfast. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. Free Wireless High Speed Internet Access in all rooms and the hotel. Free valet parking. 7 am - 11 pm.

Wonderful Historic Hotel

This was a great get a way spot for couples looking for quaint accomodations within walking distance of shops and eateries. We stayed here while visiting our son at WVU and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was lousy as there weren't very many options and no flavored creamer.

not real impressed

This hotel tries to maintain its original charm, but really needs some updates. The breakfast was really bad, not many options. Not the worst hotel ever , just nothing special.

Clarion Morgantown

Made reservation a day too short, hotel was full when I asked if I could stay. Front Desk promised referral numbers and when I went to get them less than an hour later, there was nothing. Frustrating...

Good business Hotel

The Hotel Clarion is an old historic hotel in the heart of Morgantown. It is close to the waterfront and has a few decent restaurants in close proximity. This hotel has been redone with the old school charm. There was a refrigrator iron and board as well s hair dryer and a few sundries ie shampoo,conditioner lotion and shower cap.The bathroom had a shower/tub and toilet and the sink was seperated with a counter. The amoire provided sufficient room for hanging cloths.

movie theatre in next door along with hair salon restaurants and ice cream shop and walking distance to the waterfront.
