Days Inn Huntington

This is a good hotel for the money. The only thing i didnt like was that all they could give us was a smoking room. I called the hotel to check before booking and some foreign lady was very rude to me and no help at all. Besides that its in a good location with alot of fast food choices very close by and a cvs across the street. Also there was a walmart less than 5 minutes away. Its also less than 10 mins to marshall university.

Everything was perfect! The size of the room, the bed, cleanliness, it was all wonderful, thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Thank you!

The rooms were very clean, staff was amazing, their pool was a good temp, and the tv worked fine. Was located near a lot of food places and the bed was comfortable. Will def stay there again.

I was concerned after reading previous reviews but once I got there the staff was very nice and friendly. Tv worked well, room was clean and the pool felt very good and the microwave and refrigerator worked good as well. I am def going to stay there again. Was easy to get to and a lot of food places close by. The free breakfast was nice as well.

This hotel is standard, run of the mill with nothing special, no extras. If you just need a place to crash, it works. If you are looking for anything fancy, comfortable or extraordinary, not so much.

I waited in the lobby several minutes before someone arrived. I was booked into a smoking room when I had requested a non-smoking. I was going to tough it out. The heater was either real hot or I had to turn off. My clothes started smelling like cigarette smoke, there were food crumbs on the carpet, and when I killed a roach in the middle of the night, I requested a room switch. They switched me to a non-smoking room that had been cleaned; however, you could see it snowing outside through the gaps in the door. Fortunately, they responded and weather stripped the door.

Poor water pressure for the shower. Also had a hard time regulating the water temp.

Room was clean but a bit tired - wallpaper peeling in bathroom due to steam from shower. Overall, clean and comfortable but spartan. Pix of room show a sofa or some type of seating -- there was a very large empty area near the front of the room -- space for a sofa, but only a table/desk and one chair in room. Close to freeway, gas stations, restaurants. Access was awkward - you had to zigzag thru other parking lots to get in if coming from the west. Not my best Days Inn experience, but not so bad I wouldn't stay there again.
