I gambled, it was right off the interstate maybe 4 miles. The room was quiet and comfortable. I slept late with no problems. parking was easy also. Great for the price...

You get what you pay for
Great location, close to everything. Room was clean. The beds are not very comfortable. Internet was clunky. Contential breakfast was a joke. Go to the Shoney's across the parking lot. Ok place to spend the night while traveling.

Wound up staying at the hotel due to distance I have to drive for my current job. Was good value however, the weekend that I was there, they had a fall fair right behind the hotel. I work from 5:30 pm until 4:30 am. I got to the hotel on Friday
morning and at 8 am, it got extrememly noisy due to the fact that they were setting up for the festival. On Saturday morning, once again, I was asleep and at 11:00 am, the music started blairing. It was a nice hotel but, they need to inform people when they are having something like this.[...]

Unpleasant and dirty hotel
The Travelodge Dunbar/Charleston is conveniently located off the interstate, but that was the only convenience and nice thing about the hotel. The check-in clerk was smoking and watching tv while working, and the non-smoking room had a smoky
smell and cigarette burns throughout the room. The continental breakfast was almost non-existent. There was coffee and cornflakes. Definitely not kid and family friendly. I will not stay in a Travelodge again, nor would I ever recommend this hotel to anyone!
