Very Disappointed
I have stayed here before, but it is obvious that they are not able to keep the conditions nice. Mildew in the bathroom, Stains on carpet, the carpet was bunching up in several spots. All the chairs in the room were wobbily from wear. Sofa and Chair looked dirty, and were uncomfortable from wear. This may explain the free drinks daily from 5-7, they hope the customers will drink enough to forget about the conditions. How ridiculous that they are still charging a 10 per day fee for internet access. Back to Holiday INN.

The location is hard to beat, right next to the mall. They just need to clean the place up!!

Embassy Suites Stay June 2010
Overall my experience at the hotel was good. The rooms were nice and clean and for the most part the staff was friendly. Take advantage of the cocktail hour or managers reception thing. Free drinks are always nice. The only problem is everyone has the same idea and you might have to wait in line to get your free bottom shelf drinks. The only gripe I had was the $50 charge they put on my credit card even though I had prepaid for my room in full. I am still waiting for that charge to go away. To make it even worse, the bar and grille in the hotel also put a $50 hold on my credit card even though we only bought about $15 in drinks. Again, I am waiting for these charges to go away. Other than that it was a very nice stay.

An Absolute Dream!!!!!
We had a great time at this hotel! There was a family beside us and we never heard anything. It was very quiet and nice! The morning breakfast was excellent! Though the way they have it set up isn't very good. The traffic can get bad depending on when you go down to eat and if it's a holiday weekend!!! But other than that I love this hotel would stay here every chance i get!!!

there are great resturants right accross the street from the hotel at the mall. You can get it to go or eat in. They are open late . My husband and i went down at like 10 10:30 and got food to go!!! It's great!!

Elegant Hotel
This hotel had a very elegant lobby complete with water features and street-lamp style lighting. The staff seemed friendly, although they tried to charge us for parking - which we didn't expect - we had to talk our way out of it. My family also stayed (in a separate room) and we walked across the street to the mall for dinner and some browsing...later we saw on the news that the mall had some safety issues. The rooms seemed very clean and spacious. My room had a view of the parking garage roof, but I don't know that any direction would have spectacular views of anything in particular. Overall, I was pleased with my stay.

1 of the BEST hotel experiences I've had
Our stay was great! The manager's reception every evening with free drinks was really nice! They have a shuttle that took us to dinner and picked us up. The service was reallllly great. There is a sports bar in the hotel that was a lot of fun- esp. since we stayed during the NCAA WV game. I have always liked Embassy Suites- but this is the BEST one I have ever stayed in!
