Just OK
Was ok, rooms were not attached to lobby. Room kinda smelled moldy. Big bug crawled across the wall

Days Inn Charleston East review
The check in was very easy. And there were a great deal of amenities. The exercise room was very convenient (open 24 hrs.) The continental breakfast was delicious (free!). They also had free internet useage which the wife took advantage of. There were free newspapers, another plus. The only thing that keeps it from being a 5 star hotel in my book (I give it 4 out of 5 stars) is that the maids were in a hurry to run us out of there. On both mornings at 8 a.m. they asked us if we were ready for them to clean & indicated they wanted us out of the room (in spite of a "Don't Disturb" sign on the door).

Enjoyable weekend getaway
The hotel location was very convenient to shopping and eateries. Convenient to the interstate as well which was one of the reasons it was selected. Room was clean, neat and roomy. Housekeeping was excellent. Excellent value for the money. We came down for the weekend for New River Gorge Bridge Day in WV. Over weekend experience was very good.

Pleasantly Surprised

Days Inn Charleston East
All in all our stay was fine, with the exception of the broken pool and the awful smell in our hallway. other that that, price was right, great location and clean. The staff was very helpful, too! I will be back.

It was a nice place to stay, convenient to everything you need. Not far from the parks and food stores. Staff were very friendly

The parks are beautiful. Lots of hiking trails, bike trails. Beautiful streams.

ADEQUATE ACCOMODATIONS
Hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, but some questionable people; doors banging and heavy footsteps in and out of hotel at all hours; somebody or bodies were sitting in a car with lights out in back of building for too long, some lady had an extension cord running along my car in the morning running an electric grill.It all made me a little nervous and constantly checking out the window to make sure my vehicle wasn't bothered. But all in all, for a one night stay for passing through, it was adequate.
