Very comfortable stay
The staff was friendly upon arrival (we got in at 11:45 at night). While the hotel was busy when we arrived, once in our room it was extremely quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent as was the service. Would stay here again without question.

The hotel was nicely decorated but the carpets were dirty. We had extremely noisy neighbors and did not get any rest. The hot water worked in the shower but you could not get hot water in the bathroom sink.

Charleston Marriott visit
I think the reason I was able to get such a great price for the hotel package was because there was some sort of 'festival'/Christian Bible group Jamboree at the hotel. It was extrememly noisy into late hours (kids yelling/running in hallways). There was also NO hot water in the mornings. There was also loud music on Saturday night until almost 1am. The lobby was freezing cold. I typically stay at Marriotts when I can, and this was the least enjoyable to date. The staff was very nice although they could not do anything about the constant noise.

Nice Hotel
We stayed here during our trip to the October Sky festival in Coalwood, WV. Very friendly, courteous staff, comfortable king size bed, nice indoor pool, but thought it was a bit on the small side. Restaurant was good and very convenient. Perhaps a bit pricey. Only downside is charging fees for wireless internet access, and for parking.

Marriot Charleston Town Center
hotel is good. has been upgraded since my last visit. looks brand new inside. only down side is that they charge you 13 bucks for internet access in your room. i think that they need to get with the times. free wi-fi is everywhere. I also think that the room is a little overpriced for charleston

Excellent Service
Very positive. Business there for two days/nights and my entire time in Charleston was spent in this hotel except for one dinner out. We had everything we needed.

No Surprises Good or Bad.
Great service, particularly from staff that provided shuttle ride to nearby meeting location. Friendly and genuine. Room was good, room-service meal was fine. Annoying glitch: Flat screen television in room was HDTV, but it wasn't set up for the input from the cable, as a result the top and bottom of the images was cut off. Became more annoying the more one watched. Also, VERY slow internet speed, making downloads a marathon process. Still, great bed, with super pillows: 2/3 of what I want in a hotel room. Add the service from the friendly staff, and I will definitely be back.
