Nobody was ever at the front office unless you called. Price was misrepresented by this website. Location-far from downtown Amenities-WiFi, cable tv & fridge. A microwave would have been nice, especially because there was no continental breakfast. It would have been nice if there were more menus from local restaurants (there was only one for the restaurant next door). No iron in the room as advertised, a must when traveling for business. Towels were thin and small. Furnishings outdated but worked and room was clean. The room key was an actual key. Labels all over saying things like "Do not turn on AC/Heater unless windows & door closed" or "Ice machine only for buckets in room not personal cooler" or "Only use remote to change channels" makes you feel unwelcome and it seemed like the owner was being cheap. Nice view of the river. Overall would not recommend.

cheated on price of room, room dirty, unfriendly and unhospitable shut off water for two hours for no reason

Decent value for the price
The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The motel has very few amenities. Get a room on the side that faces the river - it's quiet, peaceful and scenic. Good deal for the price - basic and bare bones.

Great anniversary weekend!
My husband and I just had our three year anniversary and this hotel was very nice for the price. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable! We will be staying here again when mommy and daddy need a break!

You Get What You Pay For
Not a bad place for the price. Had a problem with clerk but that was resolved quickly (make sure you have credit card and valid drivers license). I reserved room for wife and son through [...]with my credit card and they wouldn't take it. Luckily, my wife had a credit card or they would have been sleeping on the street. My wife said the room was clean but outdated. It's what you would expect for $50.

Most restaurants around motel are closed on Sundays. Shoney's was open. Food was okay.

Needle in a haystack
The hotel location is pretty well hidden in a very hard to find area. If you are coming from a different direction it's almost impossible to find and very easy to miss. Considering it's off the interstate if you miss the turn that means you have to drive several miles out of the way to get back to it. Staff wasn't crazy about renting their rooms, either. Since we were only there for one night it was functional, but none of us would choose this place again.

There's plenty to choose from if you want to go out to eat a short drive away, but be careful leaving the hotel-even though food is less than ten minutes away, you may spend an hour trying to find your room again.

Nice for the price!
[...] This was probably my best find. The room was very inexpensive. The inn is right on the river and has a beautiful view - especially during sunset. Try to rent a back room because they face the water. It was clean and the staff was friendly (though a little reserved). They had WiFi and a local restaurant/bar right next door. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative was that I had no iron in the room. I didn't end up asking for one since I was in a rush so I just improvised, but that's something they should invest in.
