Good overnight stay

Hotel parking poor. Location is not easy to get to from the highway.. Price was too high for the quality. Breakfast was okay.

Not a 3 star hotel by any means

The first room I was sent to had the tv on and smelled strongly of smoke. I looked around to see if there was someone already in that room. I was given another room. The breakfast was not good. In fact, I could not bring myself to eat it. It was soggy and stale. Though this was listed as a three star hotel, I would give it a 2 or less.

Wouldn't return. Pretty clean, staff pleasant, parking poor, bed horrible, elevator stunk of smoke, fire alarm went off at 3:30 am one morning (false alarm).

LOVED IT!

We were visiting Charleston for a conference. We had to wait about 10 min to get an early check in but the lobby is very nice. Once we got to our room it was perfect! The rooms are spacious and clean. I did not go to breakfast but my boyfriend said there were a lot of options! I would def. recommend this hotel!

Fun in Charleston

This hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff were all very courteous and friendly. The breakfast buffet was also very good. It is located in downtown Charleston which made it convenient. We visited the farmer's market and the museum at the state captitol. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The West Virgina Cultural Center is great plus the capitol building is beautiful and it was nice to walk through it. If you enjoy history you will like this.

Real Disappointment

Didn't have shampoo or conditioner, the phones didn't work, toilet was constantly running, desk chair was old and uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn't bad but in a real bad neighborhood.

HOtel stay

difficult to locate from highway. lot very messy snow/ice. fair price, fair hotel. tv & remote refused to work together and no one on staff knew what to do. i found a way to find one channel at a time. bolted down things in room make it look like a hot-sheets hotel.
