Wouldn't return. Pretty clean, staff pleasant, parking poor, bed horrible, elevator stunk of smoke, fire alarm went off at 3:30 am one morning (false alarm).

LOVED IT!
We were visiting Charleston for a conference. We had to wait about 10 min to get an early check in but the lobby is very nice. Once we got to our room it was perfect! The rooms are spacious and clean. I did not go to breakfast but my boyfriend said there were a lot of options! I would def. recommend this hotel!

Fun in Charleston
This hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff were all very courteous and friendly. The breakfast buffet was also very good. It is located in downtown Charleston which made it convenient. We visited the farmer's market and the museum at the state captitol. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Short drive from hotel
The West Virgina Cultural Center is great plus the capitol building is beautiful and it was nice to walk through it. If you enjoy history you will like this.

Real Disappointment
Didn't have shampoo or conditioner, the phones didn't work, toilet was constantly running, desk chair was old and uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn't bad but in a real bad neighborhood.

HOtel stay
difficult to locate from highway. lot very messy snow/ice. fair price, fair hotel. tv & remote refused to work together and no one on staff knew what to do. i found a way to find one channel at a time. bolted down things in room make it look like a hot-sheets hotel.

Very Satisfied
We were in Charleston for 5 days without a car and without any commitments to being anywhere or doing anything particular. The hotel was an incredible sanctuary retreat. We were in walking distance from anything we wanted or needed. We went to a marvelous mountain music concert, we walked to charming shops, cafes and bookstores. We reveled almost daily in the local/whole foods shops at the indoor/outdoor farmer's market just two blocks away. The state forest offered us miles of hiking amid stunning Fall color. Our room was modern, clean and the fridge allowed us to eat in as often as we ate out. For us, the comfort was glorious at a price we could afford.
