Comfort with a clear view
We enjoyed our hotel stay with a window view to the race track! In the morning we could see the horse exercising. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable, and shuttle to casino for a fun night is really convenient.

Great getaway for fun and gambling
We had a great time! The Inn was great and the shuttle takes you right to the casino and the horse track. We had dinner and bet on the horses and then gambled in the casino and had a great time at the bar with the band entertainment they had going on for the night. It was a fun night for us.

Nice Stay
For a weekend trip this Hotel is not bad. The best part was the view of the race track from our room. Make sure you request a room on that side of the property.

Love the shower here. Big spacious room. Only complaint is our carpet was stained and dirty looking.

Mountain view diner offers cheap yummy food for a great price. Leave casino and gohere. It's worth the time to leave. It's not the prettiest inside but staff seem friendly and food is always good. Plus it's open 24 hours!

The Inn at Charles Town
Hotel was nice and clean -- although on our floor (the 3rd), the carpeting looked dirty or badly stained. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the hotel serves a very good full breakfast buffet, which is complimentary. Only downside is that the hotel is not connected to the casino/racetrack and too far to walk on a dark, non-sidewalked road, so you must either drive to the casino and racetrack or use the hotel's 24-hour free shuttle, which runs every 10-15 minutes. Not too bad to deal with, but my husband and I prefer the convenience of the casino being housed in our hotel.

To be honest, for a middle-of-the-road hotel -- and considering the inconvenience of the proximity of the hotel to the casino -- the Inn at Charles Town is rather overpriced. You'd might as well stay at one of the other hotels nearby, as the casino offers a shuttle bus to those as well.

Fantastic Getaway
The Hotel was beautiful, the staff very friendly and helpful. It was very convenient having a shuttle service to the casino & horse track. As a smoker, the Inn provided outside smoking, but they could put a bench near the cigarette receptacle. A great Experience overall - I would stay there again my next visit to Charles Town.

The place was just great
Overall we had a great time, the staff was very good, and the location as far as the Race track and the gambling that was so so. I know I went there to have fun and I did just that and we spend a fewww dollars. we had a very good time because 6/6/70 was our Ann. and we didn,t care where we were.If you want a place to go and enjoy this is it

One Nighter at the Races
Splendid. Very new, nice, and plush. Hot breakfast, with pancakes, bacon, and mini premade omeletes. Great view of the track, nice to see the horses workout in the morning. Up to 40 horeses on the track at a time. No wait whatsover for the shuttle.

Great location - great price
Very nice accommodations - good breakfast (hot and cold) and the Cinnamon rolls were deeeelish. Room very clean with comfortable beds, refrig and cute little coffee makers. Enjoyed with added bonus of getting a schuttle bus to casino and horse track (came every 15 minutes.
