Review of Quality Inn: Bluefield, WV
It was absolutely miserable! The expense was outrageous-we had NO running water upon arrival in our room, no remote control for the TV, zero internet access (which, according to a website, was guaranteed). There was no food available, and as my daughter is a Type 1 Diabetic, quick access to food is imperative. (The little food they did have included a highly rotted banana and soft apples.) The hotel had no ice, either--even the room's electrical outlets had no cover. It was just ridiculous. [...]This has been the worst travel experience I've had over many years. I'm sure I've learned an expensive lesson!

Disappointed
Disappointing experience
Our disappointment started with check in, although we requested a room on the first floor due to my wife's inability to negotiate stairs, we were assigned a room on the second floor. [...] Our stay have not improved with time, matter of fact it got worst, one of the two beds was a dangerous safety hazard. There was two metal angles protruding about 3 inches out from the bed frame , but hidden from view by the bed's curtain. Unfortunately my wife bumped into one of these angles and suffered a large cut on her R. leg. The cut is about 1 1/2" long on two sides causing extreme bleeding and discomfort. I have reported this to the clerk at the front desk but other than making an entry in the log book nothing happened. Far as I know those steel angles are still there waiting to inflict damage on the next occupants. I have not done so but considering a lawsuit.

Quality Hotel, Bluefield, WVa
It was a business trip. Hallways had a musty "old" smokey smell. Room and linens were very clean. Carpet desparately needs relpaced! Heating system was very noisy and temperature very difficult to regulate. Arrived at 8:30 pm and wanted a bite to eat and there were NO healthy choices on the menu : ( . Staff were very pleasant.
