Not great, wouldn't stay there again. It wasn't even that much cheaper than the nicer places in the area. Not worth the ... small savings.

We appreciated the fact that they allowed my daughter and her family to stay in the same room. In addition, they did not ... charge for the two children. With traveling costs today, that was very appreciative. Easy check-in with arragements through Orbitz. We missed breakfast. It was cleared up by 9:30AM. Would be nice if it were kept open until 10:00AM.

Decent but unremarkable hotel. TV remote didn't work, and staff couldn't fix. Staff a bit quirky - lots of religious quotes ... and Bible verses on the wall. Nice room otherwise, and excellent location for getting to New River Gorge sites. Located in a cluster of other, similar hotels mixed with family restaurants.

The desk clerk told us to call the corporate office about the cost of the room because she said the computer would not give ... her that information. When I called, the corporate representative did not know what the clerk was talking about. She said all billing is done at the hotel. Next day, a different desk clerk said the night clerk gave us incorrect information.

The check in clerk was very nice. My room was fine for the price. My only complaint is that the bed was very hard and the ... pillows very thin, but for just a quick nights stay during a trip it's a good quality if you can get a low price.

There are a few different pizza places and a good chinese food place that will deliver right to the hotel for you.

I booked this hotel based on the 3-star rating. This was not a 3-star hotel. The furnishings were dated. The bed was ... stiff. There was a leak from the ceiling in the hallway, that the hotel didn't seem to be in a hurry to fix (it seemed as if it had been leaking in that way for awhile, based on the carpet stains). If you're looking for a 2-star hotel, this may be your place. However, I would not rate this hotel 3 stars.

My review of Park Inn and Suites Beckley

The Park Inn and Suites Beckley, Beckley, West Virginia was selected for price and location. This tourist wanted to be as ... close to the interstate highway as possible for ease in coming to town, and for a quick and easy exit in the morning. And there was real value for the money. I took advantage of the guest internet facility, the free USA Today, and the adqeuate cold breakfast (adequate because I wanted to cut back after stuffing myself in Virginia and West Virginia restaurants). Perfect location for visits to New River National River...and for those who love to parachute in October from one dramatic suspension bridge. Not top of the line, but I got more than I paid for.

For dinner, we walked to our choice of several restaurants...and took advantage on the second day of that restaurant's 10% off your second visit offer. Hey - that almost covered the tip!

The Park Inn and Suites was clean and very affordable. It was close to nice eating places. When the iron didn't work, they ... immediately replaced it with one that did. It is not luxurious but was comfortable. It had a microwave and a small refrigerator which I think was great. There was a continental breakfast available. The Inn was right off the freeway and not far from the college we were visitin. I would definately visit it again.

Bob Evans, fast food restaurants, and a nice steak place in walking distance. It is a few miles to the mall, but excellent shopping.

The Park Inn was a very clean hotel and was located just off the interstate and within walking distance of good restaurants ... and shopping. We were visiting friends in the area and found the location of the hotel to be perfect for everything we had planned to do. The hotel staff was very helpful and prompt in fulfilling our requests. I will definitely stay there again and will recommend the Park Inn to my friends and family.
