Microtel Inn by Wyndham Beckley

The rooms are smaller than they appear in the pictures, upon arrival, the woman covering the desk was wearing pajamas and house shoes. My comforter had burn holes in it, there was a sign in the lobby that stated that the WiFi was out. I however was assured that it was up and running on the second floor, and that I would be placed very close to the "box". The signal was horrible and so slow that I could not perform the necessary functions for work. I travel to this area for work and will not be staying at this hotel ever again. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were surprised to find the hotel in the middle of complete overhaul and the pool was closed. made no sense to do this type of construction on a holiday weekend. kids were highly upset pool was closed. didn't make for a fun stay at all.

The hotel was fine for a stopover. The front desk changed our room for a better internet connection before we even put our bags down (Bonus). Clean, but the mattress was a little soft.

I actually found the room to be quite pleasant for what you get. I'm used to small spaces - some might find get a bit claustrophobic. The room layout was efficient with good lighting. Staff was very friendly and diligent. I even saw the desk clerk out front picking up trash. I came here for a rafting trip at Ace Rafting in Minden. It was the cheapest hotel within 30 miles, and was easy to drive in and out. The only thing I'd nitpick was the stains on the furniture. Everything else was clean and in good working order, so not a deal breaker.

This motel was a little less than okay. The room was clean, but small. Bathroom and shower were fine. We were very disappointed with the continental breakfast. No fruit or yogurt. Just instant oatmeal, cold cereal, muffins and bagels. The hot tub at first wasn't hot, then it was out of order. The Wi-Fi was spotty. Sometimes you could connect, sometimes not. We felt they didn't care about safety as the pool door didn't lock nor did the outside door at the end of the building. Anyone could've walked in. The location was great for our needs but there are many hotels in the area to choose from. The staff was very friendly and knew the area. They directed us to some fun things to do. This hotel needs some work.

Overall it was alright. It was a little off the road.

I booked this room online in order to break up a trip traveling with a 4 year old. I was a little hesitant after reading some of the previous online reviews but was very pleased with the room. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I would stay here again.

First room sent to completely not made up. Night desk clerk quickly got us to another room, very helpful. Overall, room was ok.

Stopped here to get a few hours of sleep before getting back on the road.

Hotel was decent. Got in late, left early. Breakfast was pretty good. We stopped here just to breakup a 12 hour drive. Wasn't a bad choice.
