No major complaints
Quite clean, but it is an older motel in their chain. Mattress definitely needs replaced as it was sunken in in the middle.

Rhonda totally confused
Break from the family
I really just done some thinking, and some shopping. The only complaint would of been the heat, it blew cold air for have the night then when it finally got going it was so hot couldn't stand it.

Short drive from hotel
If you like primitives, nice cheap shop only a few miles away. The Rusty Primitives, loves it, definetly going back.

a nice place to stay
The place appeared clean. I was disappointed with the continental breakfast it was cheerio's, coffee and some small muffins. The room to eat in was to small only 3 small tables with enough room for 3 people at each table.

Beckley vacation
We went to Beckley to see "Honey in the Rock" and "The Hatfields and McCoys" at the Cliffside Amphitheater. On Friday we shopped in the area. Lots of places to eat. The hotel's breakfast leaves a lot to be desired but it's a good location at a reasonable price. The morning we left the elevator was out of order. That was inconvenient but not tragic as we were on the 2nd floor.

Good Value for the price
The rooms were very tastefully decorated and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable also. The location was right off I-77 and had easy access to everything. For a one or two night stay the value was very good. The check-in/check-out area needs to be updated, as the furniture was covered with blankets or spreads of some kind and the area looked a little run-down. Once we got to the room though, everything else was great. A very good value for the price.

Very Dirty Pool
The room was clean, but the smallest hotel room that I have ever seen. The pool was filthy, absolutely disgraceful. No coffee in room, but complementary continental breakfast the usual in a clean area. I was under the impression that there was a workout room, but there isn't anything at all. No real lobby or anything to do.

it's a place to sleep
We were just looking for a place to stay while passing through from Ohio to North Carolina. If all you need is somewhere to sleep, then this place will work.
