The Econo Lodge Beckley is a quite depressing place. When you enter the hallway to the rooms a strong smell of smoking welcomes you. Yuck! The rooms are dark with very little lighting; when you open the curtains to let in some natural light, you
look out against a wall with a little opening in front of it - even the sight of a parking lot would be more uplifting. The breakfast room has the charm of a waiting area of a train station, nobody wants to sit there! Overall, the place needs a serious face lift to become attractive to guests!
