Motel 6 Wisconsin Rapids, WI

The owner was very nice and I enjoyed chatting with him very much. Our room however though, did not have any shampoo and the KING size bed was ridiculously uncomfortable. My night there was short, so there's not much to say besides the shampoo and bed.

This was without a doubt the most perfect stay we have ever had anywhere. Sonny (the owner) was very attentive right from the start when he offered to help with our bags. We rode our motorcycle up from Union Grove, and Sonny suggested we park the bike under the overhang to keep it from being rained on even though there was no rain in the forecast. We needed to re-heat our leftovers and Sonny brought us a microwave from another room since ours did not have one. We didn't have any plastic ware so he asked one of the other customers if he had any extra plastic ware and he actually did, and was willing to give them to us. Bottom line.....A-1 Rating for a fantastic lodging experience. We were treated as though we were paying $1,000.00 per night but in actuality it was only like $45.00 per night. Great job Sonny...We will be back!!!!

The Staff was super nice. My family really enjoiyed the swimming pool , The water was just a little cold for the three yr old ,But we couldnt get her out until her lips turned purple. It was very enjoyable and for a slight extra cost we were allowd to have our two granchildren who werent reg gurests swimm with us, it was an overall better then we expected experience for the price we payed Thank you for the great hospitality. When we got in the heat wasnt on in our room and it was only 19 degrees outside it tolk an hour and a half to heat up. There was mold on the floor behind the bathroom door by tub long black hairs in the towel and the shower walls were discusting. The fridge was missing a leg so everytime you pulled it open everything fell out and off of it. There was no carpet the floors were freezing so we had to wear our shoes the whole time.

Was a totally perfect stay!!

We went to visit our daughter for Mothers day. Hadn't see her or our grandson in nearly a year. We noticed the [...] and asked for the lower rate at check in. The hotel manager gave it to us and was very friendly the entire weekend. We used the pool area and although it didn't have a hottub, the pool was clean and my grandson loved it! The room was average but had a microwave and refridgerator and plenty of hot water. The location is just off the main road so we didn't get alot of traffic noise and the hotel was nice and quiet. Never were bothered by any of the other guests. I would not hesitate to stay there again. It also doesn't have continental breakfast but did offer free coffee and is centrally located with plenty of restaurant and conveinence stores within walking distance.

Very helpful registering and with luggage. Advertised light breakfast - there was only coffee in foyer. Non-smoking hall area smelled of smoke. Mattress of poor quality. Toilet seat was not secure. Wallpaper in bathroom was peeling.
