Fall Getaway
Iowa Mom of 1 and 1/2 Oct 12, 2009
We wanted to have a change of scenery for a few days with our 19 month-old. He enjoyed the splashing in the toddler areas ... and it was nice that we could play for an hour or two, go back to the room for a nap, then do it all over again! The hotel room bathroom left a little to be desired in cleanliness, but the rest of the hotel and the pool area seemed fine. There was some wear and tear on some of the waterpark features.

The outdoor waterpark was closed, so I wouldn't recommend taking middle-schoolers/high-schoolers to this Great Wolf Lodge. ... You could see/do everything in the indoor waterpark within an hour, after that it was pretty boring. The wave pool was miniscule. The tubes were marginal, but the Tidal Wave was pretty good. What really struck us was the Lazy River. Was it really there, or was it our imagination? Whatever it was, you couldn't call it a Lazy River and keep from laughing. I would stay at Kalahari or Wilderness next time.

Great Time for the Family
AmandaH Aug 2, 2009
The hotel was okay as far as the rooms were considered. The bedding left much to be desired. The pools were great for our 3 ... and 5 year old and my husband and 5 year old had a fabulous time playing MagiQuest. If the rooms were more like what you would expect for the price I would say for sure we would return. As it stands, I don't know if we will.

We carried food for the first day and breakfast for 2 days(croissants, juice and organic milk), lunch and breakfast, we did pizzahut(located in the hotel itself) and dinner culvers(located walking distance). If you are ok to spend more bucks, their are expensive restaurants in the lodge itself.

Dells Trip
A Elliott Jul 14, 2009
The hotel is awesome. I was traveling with two older teenagers and they thought the pool was too babyish for them. The ... lobby needed a good dusting, we were on the fourth floor and you could really see the dirt. The boys wished we could have stayed in the Dells for more than one night, so they could go to the "big" waterpark.

Relaxing and Fun!
ST Mom of two Jul 6, 2009
It was our first time at the hotel. The waterpark was great, very kid friendly place. My only concern was the price, it is ... too expensive for the amenities. If the weekend prices werent so expensive we would surely go back there once every year, but now, we plan on going once in 5 yrs may be. The place is definetely kid friendly, I liked how kids were running around so free and the place was little isolated from teh crowded atttractions/places in dells. If you can, I would suggest may be check it out on a weekday when the prices are cheaper. The beds werent that great, we felt they were too soft and low quality and I couldnt sleep the 2 nights we were there.

The place is excellent with a superior waterpark. The first night there, however, when the sofabed was pulled out for a ... night's sleep, there were cracker crumbs and other food particles embedded in it..it had not been changed since the previous occupants used it. Upon notifying the front desk, it was changed the next day.

Staff were great, amenities really good, a great attention to safety; the lobby entertainment (the animated show and the ... storytelling) was a bit lame and not suited to anyone except very small children; we went to make coffee in our room only to find that there was a used coffee bag in the basket. Yuck.

Mardell Sep 9, 2008
We enjoyed our stay there very much. Went after school started so was kind of quiet. We enjoyed the large indoor water park ... more because of the fact it wasn't that busy. We are in our late 50's so wasn't as embarrassing running around in our bathing suits. The hot tub was great. The room was nice. Would stay there again.

This is a great place to take your family to. The indoor waterpark is great- especially in the off season when it's not as ... crowded. We had to switch rooms after our first night because we couldn't get hot water in the shower. The front desk staff was very friendly and the second room was fine.

If you're in wisconsin dells, be sure to eat at the Pizza Pub located on the Wisconsin Dells Parkway across from Noah's Ark. Their full salad bar and deep dish pizza are worth the trip and there's always plenty of seating no matter what season.

This was my first time to this resort. We loved it. The indoor water park was great. Room was great. The Resturant in the ... Hotel The Loose Moose was kind of pricey for what they offered, but overall had a great time and will be back next year for 7 days this time.

Safety first
Maureen Aug 3, 2008
The Great Wolf Lodge is clean, friendly, and safe. Every pool or water feature is maned by competent life guards that are ... constanly patroling their individual areas looking for swimmers who are in distress. The facility is clean and even at capacity the 100,000 acres of water park is not overcrowded. The food choices run the range from burgers and fries to more healthy selections of grilled chicken and fresh fruit and vegetable dippers, all reasonably priced. I highly reccommend this facility.

Awesome Waterpark
Tina Mar 29, 2008
The hotel needs to provide a map upon check-in showing the location of all waterpark attractions. The wall paper was peeling ... off the wall in the restroom and the toliet did not flush without holding down the handle. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The kids enjoyed the large waterpark and the Tornado ride was a thrill. Tanger Outlet mall is literally a walk across the parking lot. There are several small restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel is easily accessible and visible from all major highways.

This was a great vaation at the Great Wolf. The only thing I was a bit dissatisfied with was the long check in lines and the ... housekeeping. We didn't get our room cleaned until after 5:00 one day, and when they did clean it it was not re-stocked. (no coffee, no shampoo, etc.)

The Great Wolf Lodge was an awesome facility! The location was very good, restuarants close by and there was a shopping mall ... right next to the motel. It was only 10-15 minutes from Noah's Ark water park and other various activities. It has an indoor water park so if the weather is not workable, you still have something for your family to do. You could just stay there and not go anywhere and be perfectly content.

Laura Jun 28, 2007
We had a fun time at this hotel. The pool area has many options and the hotel is family friendly with it's no-smoking and ... quiet policy, activities, and location. The check-in was slow. Our room was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. I did think the restaurant options were costly and would have liked healthier choices. I had a 15 and 16-year old with me--they had fun, but the hotel seems geared for younger children.

Horrible Check in
Kory Jun 26, 2007
This was my first time at this Hotel and while the Hotel was very nice, the hotel check in was horrible. Our room was not ... ready on time and I had to wait in line 15-30 minutes on three separate occaisions. Once we finally were in our room at 5:30pm the hotel was great. I was very disappointed in the staff and the way they handled the late check in and there mistake.
