Days Inn Wisconsin Dells

The room was small and basic, but we didn't need much more as we really only wanted somewhere to bathe and sleep between days out enjoying the local attractions. The housekeeping wasn't exactly super-high standard, but acceptable for the low price - the room seemed clean but some of the bedding was a bit threadbare, and one of the pillows was actually leaking stuffing. But we filled in a card to leave at reception about this, and when we came back the pillow had been replaced. The only other niggle we had was that one of the channels on the TV had no sound. We also mentioned this to reception, but nothing was done about it - we did feel that as we were there out of season and the motel was nearly empty, our TV could have been swapped with a different one if it couldn't be fixed. But this was not enough to spoil our stay. We thought the inclusive breakfast was great value - it was basic help-yourself fare in a little kitchen area, but you could eat as much cereal, toast, waffles and pastries as you wanted, along with coffee, juice, etc. This was one of the reasons we picked that particular motel, and we were glad we had. Overall we found the motel cheap, basic and perfectly acceptable if you want a low-budget place to stay.

I was attending a conference in the Dells. I used the room as a place to crash after the sessions. It met my needs well.

They were ready & able to allow an early check-in which was wonderful. We had three nights in the area due to personnal commitments. Staff was friendly & accomodating. Small room & very small pool. They did have a small sauna & tanning beds, which was nice. For the price, we received what we paid for... however, this is something we will keep in mind for the future. No 'wonderful' surprises in the accomodations, but not a bad experience.

we arrived at hotel around 3:00 P.M. Got our room assingment and directions to room. Upon arriving at our room we find out that someone is already in that room for the weekend. We go to front desk and we get a different room. Upon arriving at new room the door is open and there is hair in the towels. The bed and bathroom looked like they were cleaned so just requested new towels. Desk clerk seemed a little dismayed at the request for new towels even informing them of the hair in them. We stayed in this hotel last year and everything was great which is why we stayed there again this year, I'm guessing the staff is pretty much all new or at least not the same staff that was there a year ago because they were not as freindly this time either. At this time I will not recomend this hotel.

Needed a place to sleep for a meeting the next day. The hot tub was warm and inviting. The room was small but met our needs for a good night's sleep. The tv got a very small number of channels. A good value for the money for a basic room to sleep in.

We opted for a cheaper hotel for one of our two night stay, so we chose the Days Inn. The room was spacious, and the hotel pretty average for their brand. The one inconvenience we experienced occurred when trying to enjoy their continental breakfast before checking out. We went for the breakfast at about 9:00am, and the sign stated it was offered until 10:00am. There was barely any food left when we arrived. Our only option was to make a belgium waffle. Even the juice machine was out. We went to the front desk and asked for some fruit, and were told a staff member was in the process of restocking the breakfast. We went back to the breakfast room at 9:45am to find it in the same condition as before. When we told the clerk at checkout about the inconvenience, all he said was "Sorry". I do not feel that a hotel should include continental breakfast if it's not going to be available for all guests.

We went to the dells for the annual winter flake fest. At first glance the Days Inn isnt anything to get excited about but we felt comfortable and they have a very friendly staff. We were there for 2 nights and didnt have any issues while we were there. I wont say it was the nicest place I have stayed at but for the price you cannot beat this place. It was overall a very nice place to spend a few days.

This was our halfway point to stop between Chicago & Minneapolis. It is the perfect location and priced right during the off season. The beds are comfortable and they were clean, but the room was not super clean. There was still popcorn on the floor, donut icing stuck on the table, a sticky drink ring on the end table & hair in the bathtub. I always bring some disinfectant with me and did a quick once over and the room was ok. The staff was friendly.

We are basically locals to the Dells and wanted to "get away" for a night to catch the Packers on ESPN. What a great excuse to do just that. The Days Inn has a great location. The staff are helpful and friendly. Our room phone did not work, but that was not an inconvenience for us. We'll visit there again in the "off" season. Since we live local, we like to visit in the winter.
