Anniversary

The room was small but it fit our weekend plans. The indoor whirlpool was not working along with the AC. Cleanliness needs to be improved. Very nice continental breakfast.

The good, the bad and the really ugly. .

When we drove up to the hotel I wanted to see the pool right away. The pool was terrible. It had black all around the edge of the pool. The water wasn't filled to the top and there were all kinds of stuff at the bottom and stuff on top of the pool floating around. I went into the office and there was a handicapped man in a wheel chair yelling at the desk clerk. He and his wife were very upset. This wasn't a good start. I waited until the couple were done and asked the desk clerk if they could clean the pool. They weren't too responsive. I went to my room and there was a German Sheppard next door barking like crazy. I went to the front desk and asked for my room to be switched. We got to the new room and the first thing I noticed was the bed spread had stains all over it. I took off the bed spread right away. We went out and I needed directions to get to a restaurant. I went to the front desk again and asked for directions. The desk clerk told me the place that I was going to was closed. I told him he was wrong and asked for directions anyway. He told me, but wasn't sure. As I proceeded out the door a girl ran out after me and told me to get far away from the place and don't come back. I asked why and she said she had been in the outdoor pool and a mouse or some kind of rodent was swimming in the pool with her. She started screaming and reported the incident, but the desk clerk didn't want to do anything about it and then she told me she had stains all over her bed spread. There were two other gentlemen who overheard us talking and they too told us that they had stains all over their bed spread as well. We left and I was very upset that I really didn't know what to do, but since we were only staying one night we figured we would just stick it out. That night I had nightmares of the hotel. I was up very early because I was upset with the hotel. The main reason I wanted to go to this hotel is it had a Jacuzzi. The next morning I thought it would be nice to sit in the Jacuzzi before check out. I went to the Jacuzzi and low and behold the Jacuzzi was out of order. WOW!! I was so upset, that was the last straw so I went to the desk to ask for a discount on my room since I paid $109 and with tax it came to $121. The desk clerk told me no. [...] I couldn't believe how horrible this hotel turned out to be. I didn't even ask for a full refund and just a discount since nothing was working or clean in this hotel. OH, and my sheets had mascara on the pillow cases and towels. I would like some of my money back and recommend that no go to this hotel.

You get what you pay for.

My boyfriend and I stayed there due to its location. We were able to go downtown at night to have a couple drinks and were able to walk home versus drive. Other then that there is no reason for us to stay there again. Not the cleanest hotel. I'm a bit of a neat freak and I know they were not cleaning up to their full potential. But, if you are just looking to use it as a place to sleep at night it will do just fine. Also the pool and spa... I didn't even dare to step in them!

Days Inn

I spent one evening here, pretty much just a place to sleep after a night out, so I am unable to give any review of pool/jacuzzi.They did have tanning beds, something I had never seen at a hotel before. I didn't use them though. The hotel seemed to be under some remodeling. The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, even at 3:00 in the morning. The hotel was a little maze like but with the help from the guy at the front desk and map it was not a problem. Slept well, shower had hot water. The sink had alot of water pressure, just had to be careful not to turn it all the way on. As for the complimentary breakfast I was pretty disappointed until I had asked someone to restock everything. I got to the breakfast area around 9:00 and everything was gone, both juice dispensers needed to be changed. The waffle maker spray was no wear to be seen to peoples waffles were stuck to waffle maker. I had asked one of the staff to refill and restock the room. She and another girl came and restocked everything, by then it was a little late, but better late then not at all, the people after me hopefully had a better experience. All in all for the time I spent there and the price. I would stay again. I am pretty easy to please.

Cheap Place to stay

For the price, it is a decent place to stay. Stayed 4 nights. One of the nights, the maid never cleaned the bathroom sink. Very inexpensive.
