Black Hawk Motel

We enjoyed several nights at this Motel and found the room clean and the staff helpful. My kids enjoyed the playground too. It's within walking distance of most of the fun shops and restaurants on Broadway.

This hotel was very comfortable and clean. Perfect location as a short drive to any local hotspots! Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is a glimpse of the past. While older, the hotel doesn't feel old. It is very well kept. The parking lot was recently paved. The room was clean. The AC worked great. This was a great value at a great location.

The Black Hawk Motel is a nice, albiet sprawling motel. Our room was clean and pleasant, and the staff were helpful. The 2-for-1 card that came with the room was a fantastic bonus which we made good use of. Overall, a nice motel which was a good value for the price.

The staff at The Black Hawk Motel was so helpful in assisting us with directions and providing discount coupons for all of the major attractions in the area.

Since we are walkers the location was perfect. Just close enough to downtown to walk. We loved the room and the service that we received. We will go back real soon probably before the year is out.

We don't spend much time at our lodging when we travel, but we do expect a clean, quite place place. This Motel fit the bill perfectly. It was walking distance to downtown, assigned parking right outside the door, and the room and bathroom were spotless. The staff was friendly, and the cleaning staff even gave a call to confirm we didn't need the room cleaned when we left the do not disturb sign up. We did not visit the pool or playground areas, but they appeared clean and well protected from traffic and passer-bys. My wife and I would stay here again.

We stayed over night in the Dells to go to Noah's Ark. We are a family of four and we got a room with two queen beds at the Black Hawk Motel. The room was VERY reasonably priced for the area, and it was like a step back in time. It is a motel, so our kids were very reluctant, but once we got there we all realized that it is very well maintained, clean, and the amenities (indoor and outdoor pools, playground, arcade, coffee in the lobby, laundry, etc) were plentiful. You also get your own guaranteed parking space. In sum, whenever we go back to the Dells, we won't stay anywhere else.

Felt I had stepped back in time to about 1950-60. Room was clean, shower head very low, towels well-used, Hours for pool very late and very late - well appreciated, Quite a distance thru town to convention centers. For the Dells, got what I paid for.

The rooms were clean. And the location was good. There was not much noise except the regrigerator which makes some noise every hour or so, which made me wake up in the night couple of times.
