Americas Best Value Inn

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to the Dells with my boyfriend, and was extremely satisfied. It's close to the Dells while still having the feel of being partially secluded. I had seen the warnings about the name being Day's End instead of America's Best Value Inn, so I knew what to look for. We had a little bit of a problem finding it off the highway signs because it was not listed, but if you have a GPS or look up the location first then it's easy to find (we had a GPS). Very cute hotel, has everything you need in the room. We had just the regular room with a queen-sized bed, bathroom, TV, and coffee maker, so the room was a little smaller. Considering that there was only 2 of us, it was perfect! There is also a pool outside that was fun to swim in! My only complaint would be that the staff was rarely right at the desk when you walked in. There were a couple times when we walked in and no one answered when we rang the bell. However, the staff is extremely small: it seemed like there was a small family running the hotel, just a couple and their toddler. Keeping this in mind, I am not able to complain a lot about that because they have to care for a child, and run a hotel, and do a million things at once. And at the price that we paid for the 2 nights, I was definitly not going to make a big fuss over a couple being very busy! When we were looking at hotels, this was by far our cheapest option, and I feel that we got more than we paid for in our experience here!

We called ahead as we thought we would miss check in. They were waiting when we got there, check in was fast and easy. Room was large and spacious. Beds 2 queens were comfortable. Mostly room was CLEAN and fresh smelling. Housekeeping staff was very pleasent , waited as we finished getting ready. Was quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for a 3 day weekend, and surprise! The hosts had put a little frig and microwave in the room before we arrived. We didn't ask, either, which was pretty nice! It was after Labor Day weekend, so there were not many kids running around, which we liked. It was down-home decor and had the nicest hosts that made you feel at home and relaxed, which is what we needed. We didn't want to pay a huge price to stay, and got a deal here. Who cares if I didn't get any cell phone service, you just go into town for that ;) Thank you Mr. and Mrs. S. for being so kind and helpful while we were staying in your cute lil ol' establishment!

The service was amazing, really had a family feel! The value was great. The location was outside of the city which makes for a nice quiet stay. The pool area is well kept and a perfect size for swimmers of every age. We loved the playground area, a great way to burn off some kid energy after the long drive. Rooms were very clean and had all the amenities of an expensive hotel. Thank you so much for starting our vacation on a great note!!

We were more than pleased with this wonderful, privately owned motel. The room was small but exceptionally clean with a flat screen TV and a newer, modern bathroom. The grounds were immaculate and the country setting relaxing; the staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay there again and highly recommend it if you don't need the plushy and pricey extras (hot tub, game room, exercise room, and such.)

The motel offers such great "value" that you hardly get anything. It may be the cheapest motel in town, but for $100/night you'd expect some basics like, for example, a little fridge.

Although this place is America's Best Value Inn on the website, it's actually called Days End Motel. It took us a few times passing by this place before we looked at the picture on the website and realized we drove by it three times! The room is large, with two double beds that were EXTREMELY firm (too hard in my opinion), and room for an air mattress that we had for one of our children. There is a new flat screen tv, and wifi is available....both of which are pluses to us who need to stay connected. However, there was no refrigerator or microwave in our room, as was billed on the website. The owner went out and purchased a mini-fridge for the room and we were grateful for that. The bathroom and sink area are TINY, but clean. Overall, not a great place to stay, but for the Dells, probably very typical of what you'll find in the area.

The room was to small for the price. Its bathroom was okay but the shower was as big as a telephone booth. There was a smell to the room that was somewhat unpleasant(not sure what that smell was). I thought the charge for the room was to much for that little bit of space, and would not go back.

We stayed at this motel for just one night, on our way to MN from OH. It is on the edge of town, but close enough to all of the activity in the Dells. We have visited the Dells with our daughters several times prior to this visit. None of the other motels can compare to this one.Our room was very, very clean. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but very nice.In the Dells, you just need a place to sleep as there is so much to do outside! Even this motel has plenty to do outside. Do not pass up this motel because of the location. Very nice stay that we were very satisfied with. We will be back!

I was attending a conference and needed a place to sleep. The conference ran late and so a quite place to rest at a reasonable price was what I was looking for. This quaint little motel fit the bill. The owners were pleasant and courteous. I would stay there again.
