mattress
The mattress had a sag in the middle so that with two people in the bed it was necessary to put a pillow on the down side to avoid feeling like one was sleeping on an incline.

Good Room, at a Good price
The room was a bit small, and the chair creaked. Overall I had a pleasant stay, I had hoped for a microwave, but I twenty four hour pool and gym to make up for the microwave. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice for a Night
We stayed overnight and it was perfect for that. Close to everything that we needed to get to. The room could have been a little cleaner.

Great accomadations for a great price.
Visit a friend. The only problem was so much constrution around the area, it was hard to find a way in. The hotel clerk gave me good directions later.

Overnight Stay
The motel was okay, however. We asked for a handicap room which we got but, there was no room on the left side of the bed to get in and out of bed. The toilet was not raised and the assist bars were to high to be of any value. There was a power strip for plug-ins next to the bed and a refrigerator. There was no easy plug-in for a computer by the desk. You had to move the table closer to the bed in order to plug it in. The breakfast was okay with the waffles. Also, we were not able to get credit for our stay with our Wyndymn Card.

O so nice
The staff were super friendly and laid back,the room was super clean, and all the equipment(workout/ pool area)was in great condition. Would definetly stay here if ever in Wausau again. Great location.

accurate advertising
We went during the holidays to visit family. The hotel was decorated tastefully and cozy. A lot like being at home. Staff was friendly and efficient. The continental breakfast has hot and cold foods and was kept clean and filled. I didn't use the hot tub or the pool. It's not real big but it looked inviting with easy access. I've stayed at other hotels in the area, and for the money, this one is the best.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
The Granite Peak ski area is only a few minutes away and at night you can almost see the runs from the hotel. It's a little confusing to find it when you approach from HWY 51/I39. But the signage is good so one can turn right at 17th avenue and then Rt on to Stewart Avenue and its a right turn at the next stoplight.
