Neat freak.
Almost perfect
The hotel was very nice. Not too much of a selection for breakfast. It was a little hard to recognize b/c didn't have a big sign. Everything was very clean ( pool included) besides the bathroom and it was not horribly dirty but it was dated. Nice beds. Staff was very helpful. Overall for the value I thought it was good.

Wouldn’t recommend
If you’re looking for just a place to stay this isn’t all that bad. BUT be warned the beds are rock hard. Sleeping on the floor probably would have been better. The room was big for a hotel room, which was nice. The pool was decent but the hot tub had green scum stuff on the side and barely bubbled. The hotel staff was nice and the breakfast was typical. I happened to leave my phone charger behind and went back for it later in the day thinking the cleaning staff would have found it. I believe they just threw it away… Staff couldn’t find it, even after going back into the room. So, that was a little disappointing. All in all it was an ok stay; I guess I just expected a little more for the money I spent. Heard from fellow travelers that the super 8 a mile away was a great stay and cheaper. This hotel is a little hard to get to considering the GPS doesn’t recognize what road it’s really on.

Great for just a quick place to sleep
Great for just a night sleep.....was under renovations so was a bit of a mess but ok overall and for the price.

My trip
For our trip, the price was right; room was comfortable and cool for a hot summer day. Bathroom poorly designed and could have been cleaner- some mold around the tub. It was quiet, well located and suited our purpose.

When we first arrived, we turned on the water at the sink to clean up after a day of traveling and it smelled like rotten eggs! Then we looked in the bathtub and the bottom had dirt stained on it! Later we went to the hot tub and the desk clerk followed us down there and went into the utility room. She asked if we were going to use the hot tub and when we said "yes," she said the hot tub was not turned on and that it would take thirty minutes to heat up. The time we went there just happened to be thirty minutes before the pool area was to close, so we ended up in a cold hot tub.

horrible dump
my expierence was horrible. i was traveling with my pregnant wife and 4 year old son. when we arrived our non smoking room was located on a smoking floor, the only non smoking room in the hallway. there was garbage in our room. tub was filthy. tried to go swimming in the heated pool and it was freezing. the was also multiple ceiling tiles missing above the pool, which allowed dirt and dust bunnies to fall in pool. pool was filthy. hallways were dirty and most were missing their baseboards. our hallway wreaked of weed. beds were horrible and very still, the blankets had a stain on them also. the parking lot was very dark, not enough lighting to feel secure about car being out there. i ended taking my family and going else where. we only lasted 3 hours. half of that time was spent looking for a new hotel to stay at

we went to the milwaukee zoo, and also enjoyed a brewers game. both were only a 15-20 min drive from our new hotel down the street from this one. check out the quality inn. great place to stay.
