quiet, luxurious, calming

This hotel is just outside of Milwaukee. The gourmet food was perfect as was the staff. The rooms are beautiful, with gold ... accents, luxurious beds and spacious bath. We had the pool to ourselves one evening-the jacuzzi is 104 degrees and the pool water warm. We went to the modern art museum (Andy Warhol) and shopped in the historic, upscale ward. Dinner at the German Mader's was the only disappointment.

We checked in and gave them our Marriott Card and even though we are only Siver Level they didn't recognize the card (ex. no ... paper at the door in the morning). Also Sunday Brunch was horrible. All the food was old. Had been sitting way too long without being refreshed. If they aren't going to keep the food fresh during the hours of service, then close early. Don't serve hours old food. And now they have not credited our 4 night stay to our Marriot Reward program. I loved the service from Orbitz but I guess the hotels and airlines do not like customers going through Orbitz. Had this happen one other time when we travelled to CA back 5 or 6 years. Thought they would have gotten used to this by now!!!! Can you help with the rewards?

We were there for a family gathering - At other upscale hotels we've stayed at there would be an hour of pool operation ... just for "adults", often the last hour that the pool would be open at night. The bartender told us that this was the case at this hotel but when I asked at the front desk I was told otherwise. A shame - I really needed some quiet time in a beautiful pool setting to relax and de-stress. If this hotel changes that policy and has adult pool time set aside then we'll be back for future family gatherings. Otherwise I might as well stay at a less expensive hotel, without a pool.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, except I would like to apologize for my noisy kids. They were so wore out from the game that they just ... couldn't get to sleep. Everything was perfect right down to the soap in the bathroom. I would like to thank the Milwaukee Marriott West for all their smiles and helpfulness this made our family trip "priceless".

The Marriott was GREAT! The beds were so comfortable that my boyfriend and I decided it should be our first piece of ... furniture when we get an apartment together! Spotless rooms, quiet...we enjoyed a Brewers/Cubs game while we were there and the friendly hotel staff at the front desk joked with us about our home team chances of winning(we were wearing Cubs gear...HA!) Loved the overall experience! Would definitely go there again!

Comfort and a good deal

While it was more than we were hoping to pay for just a one nighter, it was nice to have a real hotel. I'm willing to sleep ... almost anywhere for just a night, but when you are with the family it's better to have a few more comforts.
