Best getaway yet
I don't normally gush on these reviews, but this place just surpassed every expectation we had. It isn't fancy. But it has great beds, comfy recliners, new flatscreens that are BIG, and good-sized rooms with fridges, microwaves, coffeemakers, etc. that all work. The pool is big and clean, the hottub is really big and clean, and the sauna--well, it's not very big, but it works really well. The breakfast is the normal eggs/suasage/waffle/cereal thing, but it's all well prepared, and the staff don't get all worked up about people arriving a little early or late. What sets this place apart is the lobby, of all things. It is FULL of things to make your visit more enjoyable. Menus from a couple dozen local restaurants. Brochures and fliers on attractions and events, and even motel-printed info sheets on area attractions and activities. If all that fails, the staff are courteous, smart and helpful. The close attention to detail reflects a staff and management who really are dedicated to making your stay enjoyable.

Hotel was very comfortable, staff was friendly and was surprised to see they offered internet service. One thing that could be improved is the breakfast menu...

July 4th visit to Door County
Good hotel for a brief overnight visit prior to spending the day on the peninsula at the Birch Creek Music festival to pick up my son.

very confordable bed and quite.
We had a nice trip and a good location to just about everything. The first two days were cold, and than it got very hot.It did not stop us from having a good time.

Good time for all.
We were in Sturgeon Bay for a family wedding and met other family members at the Americinn. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub, rooms were nice and family gathered in the lobby for social time. Good location.

Door County is delightful. Spent time after wedding at Egg Horbor and Sister Bay and the Peninsula State Park.

Clean, affordable, friendly
Located on south edge of Sturgeon Bay. Easy access to Hwy 42/57. Neat and clean rooms, good price for product, average continental breakfast. One of the nicer less expensive hotels near a resort vacation area. Didn't have that grungy, "dirt swept under the rug" feel.

The hotel staff was very friendly & helpful. The room was nice and included a recliner, refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast offered a large variety of items.
