The overall experience was average. Room was clean and the staff was friendly. Conviently located next to several restaurants and establishments. The biggest issue I experienced was with the parking area. It was extremely small and the entrances were inconveniently located on a busy intersection.

Nice place to stay
Everything was great here, except that our room was on the 2nd floor, and the room's floor above us creaked a lot and was very annoying!!

Nice stay when visiting child at UWSP
Our room was on the 2nd floor, and the floor of the room above us creaked excessively. Very annoying. The breakfast is just so-so. I enjoy flavored creamers with my coffee, and they only had half and half. My husband loves waffles and his was great! Don't stay on the 2nd floor, and you should be fine!

Pleasantly surprised
I was traveling with my sister and brother and we booked this hotel as a crash-pad for our road trip. Really, we were just looking for something economical. The last hotel we stayed in for the trip had a lobby that smelled like old people. Not La Quinta. What a nice surprise! This hotel was clean and comfortable, had a pool, and free breakfast. We were visiting the Point Brewery and it was very conveniently located, and driving distance to downtown Stevens Point as well. Free parking. The only thing that would have made this room better was if there was a fridge, since we were driving with lots of food and snacks. Maybe some of the rooms do have fridges available, just not the one we booked. Not sure.

Point Brewery tour is only $3 and you get popcorn and a beer tasting afterward. Downtown dining and shopping was cute.

Love to stay here!
I really enjoy this hotel when I visit home. The rooms are nice and clean, the beds comfortable and the water pressure and temperature perfect! The pool is a bit cool, however we did go swimming during a snowstorm this time! The continental breakfast goes fast so I tended to head down earlier in the morning in order to get the Lucky Charms! We will always be staying here when we come to visit!

Right on the main drag.
The breakfast room is very small and they don't seem to be able to keep up the refilling of the breakfast food with the amount of customers staying on a weekend. The Fairfield Inn just down the street has a much larger breakfast room with a much larger spread. When staying there they never seem to run out of food and are refilling all the time.

The Hilltop pub is right next store. They have a great fish fry on Friday's, but get there early, wait times build up fast after 5 pm.

Help!
Pool was closed? Coffe maker in room was broke. Trash was bot taken out 1st day room was cleaned? If I hadn't prepaid for the room I would have left. Very disappointed.

Great place to stay for the money
We were in town for a wedding shower. So basically we had a small amount of time actually spent in the hotel. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly, but when I wanted to go for a swim the pool was clean but very cold.
