The Super 8 Sparta is not the newest hotel. That is fine by us though as the staff here is doing a wonderful job of keeping this hotel clean which is the most important thing a hotel staff can do. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had
two king size beds in the room which was a nice perk. The room had flat screen TV, microwave and mini fridge. The was also a nice reading chair in the room and the room had good lighting. A/C worked very well which was nice for the humid Wisconsin summer. The breakfast was good with cereals, yogurts, juices, coffee, and make your own waffles. Overall this hotel is a great value and we will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Sparta.
Sparta's the bicycling capital of America, with the oldest rails-to-trails in the country. What could have been a standard Super-8 motel experience was enhanced by ready advice, a good breakfast, and a bicycle barn.
