Super 8 Sheboygan WI

The best thing was being located close to where my events were. I was told that they had just remodeled and it was 99% done. The room was clean, newly re-painted, but the safe was pulled from the wall lying on the floor and the window screen was ripped and taped up with yellow tape. The halls looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a few days, the windows and doors were dirty. There were printed signs taped to doors saying there was a $300.00 fine for smoking in the rooms. They need to go to a hotel management school. There are no amenities except a cold breakfast.

Less than 1/2 mile from the Old Plank Road and Sheboygan Urban trails, near many places to eat and a mall Room was very comfy with fridge and microwave and comfortable King sized bed Staff, very helpful -- no problem with us taking our bikes into our room Continental breakfast was simple -- cereal, oatmeal, apples and bananas, yogurt, toast, muffins, juice, coffee and milk No other amenities but we didn't need them with all the things to do nearby. Good value!

Better breakfast

Was in town for a friends baby shower with my sister. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed to check in an hour early and when we called ahead they were very accommodating The hotel was also pet friendly. We were able to bring our dog with us (you can have up to 3 per room) However, our room was not very clean, there were holes in the blankets, the air conditioner blew air but it wasn't cold so it was almost like having the heat on. There was a hole in the screen so we couldn't leave the window open. The door to the outside that you need a key card to get into was also propped open every time I came in. The TV was really fuzzy, the paint was peeling and you could see where things used to be bolted to the wall and had been removed leaving holes in the wall and different colored paint. We paid $147.99 (Plus $16 for the dog) for this hotel since there was a nascar event in the area it was the only hotel with open rooms. They definitely took advantage of the fact that everything in the area was book and charged over double for what I would expect for a hotel in this condition. After the baby shower was over we actually ended up checking out early and driving the three hours back home instead of having to stay the night.

Though the room was cheap it was still overpriced. We didn't see any bugs but the entire place smelled of strong bug spray. Our first room had pubic hair on the bathroom floor and the bathtub. The bed sheets had bodily fluid stains so we called the front desk and they got us a different room and that room was quite a bit cleaner, but the bed was rock hard and lumpy. Won't stay here again.

Can't beat the price of this place. Not fancy by any means, just a clean place to stay.

Expensive and overpriced for the type of hotel. Felt taken advantage of because there were a number events in town that weekend. Not a Best Value at all! Desk clerk would not make a phone call to housekeeping to ask a simple question. I finally had to insist!

I visited Sheboygan for a job interview. I chose this hotel for its location, which was great. The bed in the room was hard as a rock was not so great. Then there was the continental breakfast or the extreme lack there of. A mini blueberry muffin and 4oz cup of orange juice is hardly a breakfast.
