A Real Gem
This hotel was great. Rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Free WiFi was fast. Indoor pool and hot tub great. Complimentary breakfast buffet has waffel maker, cereal, juice, coffee, fruit, bagles, sweet rolls and much more.

Impressive Motel
This is the first motel we've stayed with more appeal than higher priced hotels. From the outside I expected much less which proved to be deceiving once inside. A wonderful home-town feel immediately filled the atmosphere. Our room was nicely sized, clean and comfortable. A bathroom separate from the grooming area, a mini frig. and a TV corner mounted near the ceiling were nice touches. Two mints were even placed near the bed. Waiting to check in was our only disappointment since it took between ten to fifteen minutes. Only one receptionist was available. Encompassing the check-in line were window cases filled with souvenirs and home town trinkets. They even had individual $1 ?Swimmies? in case left behind. We did not swim but the pool was viewable from the reception area and though small it appeared comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast was the absolute the best we have encountered. A simple dining room complete with a selection of cold foods and an easy self-use waffle maker. The cook kept busy in the small attached kitchen baking fresh, warm cookies. Nice touch! I would recommend and stay again at this motel. We?re planning a similar longer vacation next year and we plan to stay at this hotel.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Saint Germain is a nice, small, seasonal vacation spot that?s not overtaken by tourists. Twenty miles or less away is Minocqua, a larger town that does cater more to tourists. For the quick easy drive there's lots of shopping and beautiful scenery to be seen.

Good Value, nice place
They had an awesome breakfast spread for us. I often go up to the area during the fall color tour time, and this place is the best value I've seen in the area in a long time. I'll definitely be back.
