The hotel was fine, about what I expected, but what was annoying is that the first room that was assigned to me was not made up when I entered the room. I had to get a room reassignment.

Quality Inn Rhinelander
I have stayed at this hotel for 14 years when I visit a client in the area. The rooms are average, with microwave, refrig and fresh bedding but the pillows are hard as a rock! Carpet in the main areas have been updated as have the soft furnishings in the rooms, but bathrooms are old. Staff is friendly and the hotel is quiet. Computer in the business center is ancient (has a space for a sloppy disk!)and was barely functioning. Could not check into my Delta flight because of it. NO ELEVATOR! So, stay on the first floor or lug your bags up the steps. Has a pool and basic fitness room.

Short drive from hotel
The Fireside Supper Club is a short distance from the hotel and puts out a fabulous "Northwoods Supper Club" experience. Entrees come with a cracker basket, soup AND salad with a huge selection of homemade dressings. Try the local walleye, or a steak. And don't pass up the twice baked potato!

Very satisfied
Booked this hotel for a weekend trip to see some in-laws. Hotel is very easy to find, very clean and very quiet. Only saw/heard other guests during the very satisfying breakfast or very relaxing pool area. Gym looked small but very nice and clean. Will stay here every time we plan on being in Rhinelander area.
