Low cost convenience
We have used this motel many times for events in Racine. It is better maintained than many others in this same budget chain. Originally chosen because pets are permitted and we keep coming back for the price and convenience.

My trip.
Great location, but when I got to my room my key didn't work, so I had to get that fixed. When I entered the room it looked clean until I was in the bathroom and noticed the urine stains on the floor. I left early Sat & Sun to spend the days with friends. When I came back to my room both days the room had not been cleaned.

Go to Chubbie's on High Street. Great burgers and malts. I'm a big eater and the burger I had made 2 meals for me.

Somebody screwed up.
I had a confirmation for 2 rooms both were king non-smoking room. When I arrived the hotel had me for 2 rooms king smoking. The attendent told me this always happens.[...]Only by luck we found out the next morning they had two cancellation and we were able to move to a non-smoking room. Normally this would not be that big of a problem but one of our friends has a lung problem and needed a non-smoking room. I would have been better off making the reservation myself because I would have been assured a non-smoking room because I would have been dealing directly with the hotel. It seems the hotel only screws up when working with outside contractors.

Great location and value for Racine
We were at a class reunion in Racine and it was a great location for Racine and close to I-94 when we left in the Am. Had a very good breakfast.

Scared for the future
Super Ghetto
Lightening struck the hotel and the smoke alarm went off and broke the elevator. There was a huge, cussing, loud fight between a couple that woke the whole floor if not the whole hotel (literally) up at 2 AM and the phone in my room didn't even work for me to call the front desk. I was ready to call the police on my cell phone, but they had stopped. When I mentioned this to the front desk clerk in the morning, he said that someone else called and someone went to tell them that they were disturbing the guests! Ah....YEAH! I was so freaked out, I didn't fall back asleep for over an hour! I like the fact that they had a waffle maker there for breakfast, but it was awful! NOT a good experience and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

Completely satisified
First time to Racine Wisconsin. Visiting friends. Liked security system at night - need room key to enter building after 10:00 p.m. Reasonable distance from airport. Not easy to find using GPS system. Not alot of sightseeing opportunities available in the area. Would have been helpful to have access to printer to print boarding passes for next part of trip

Just Average, but NO Pool
It was someplace to put my head. But the bed was needing replaced (lumpy). Was under the impression there was a pool, so packed for it. My niece (4 1/2yr) was VERY disappointed & so was I! Add to that that AC only ran on high. They only left 1/2 the towels needed (kept having to ask for more). I feel that the price was a little high for not having a pool.
