Average motel. Wall paper thin. Could hear people talking in other rooms. Desk associate had trouble coding room keys. Snowed during night, and gentleman fell in outside entrance. Reported to management, and nothing done. Breakfast attendance pleasant and efficient.

Nice for our family

The room looked just like the picture, we had the pool to ourselves for an hour, very friendly staff, good breakfast selection, overall very nice stay for our one night. The side entrance key card lock was a little finicky to get in and you could hear people in the hall a little, but I think that happens everywhere.

Nice people, tolerable place

The staff were great-very nice. The room...not so great. The walls were paper thin, we heard every step, cough, and baby crying out side our room. The room wasn't as clean as it should be; the tub didn't drain (they did get it fixed when we told the front desk staff...). My personal favorite was the duct tape on the carpet seam in the middle of the hallway. The breakfast was a carb-lover's dream...we don't so much love carbs. Again, the staff were super.

We have stayed here before. The front desk staff are very friendly. The Continental breakfast is always well stocked and fulfilling. Gray value!

Fairfield Inn - Racine

The Fairfield Inn in Racine, Wisconsin is not a good value for the money. There is a safe in the room they charge you for (that we didn't use). When the front desk took it off my bill, they really re-added it and I had to go back twice. Children staying in the hotel were really rowdy - running up and down in the halls and laying in the elevator asking for tip money. When I complained, then my husband after me, then our neighbors across and to the left of us - the rowdy children kept on. Night staff tried to take care of the situation but daytime check out staff was rude. Pool way to small - too many kids, couldn't swim. Would not stay here again.
