Days Inn Racine/Sturtevant

This hotel is tired. They keep it clean but the rooms need maintenance. Our air conditioner was really rattling but they couldn't fix it and we couldn't switch rooms with no vacancy. Very uninspiring hotel.

A decent hotel for the money. Breakfast was basic. Hotel is clean. Did not use the pool or exercise facilities. Quiet despite being near the I94 freeway. Heater was quiet and efficient. Straight shot to Racine, Milwaukee and Kenosha.

We stayed here over the Christmas weekend. Location is directly off the interstate. Check-in was a breeze, and they even had our room ready an hour early. The room was clean, & cleaning service during our stay was good. The outside of the hotel could use some curb appeal. An unappealing dumpster area, and some debris by the side entrance greeted us each day of our stay. They had a nice breakfast selection, including the usual suspects (danishes, muffins, fruit, cereal), as well as biscuits & gravy and a waffle maker. The only problem we encountered was with the staff. We called before booking the reservation to see if they took pets. The man on the phone said yes, and that a $10/night fee was required. Once we arrived, we got a call from the front desk telling us that the hotel has only 1 room for guests with pets, and ours was not it. They did not offer to move us, but insisted that we immediately pay a $20/night pet fee. We deemed the extra $10/night fee unfair, and argued our point to deaf ears. After 2 days, and a convo with the manager, we settled with the staff and gladly paid the $10/night pet fee that we rightfully owed the hotel. No problem paying the fee, but the customer service was severely lacking, and a language barrier made matters worse. We will probably not be back, solely due to our pet issue. Not worth the fight.

Our first room we were in, had blood from the previous tenants on the bedsheets. After they moved us, that room did not have a working remote, the chain on the door was missing and it had a used pregnancy test sitting on top of the hairdryer. Disgusting!

One adult and two kids for $50 a night! What a deal. The staff were all courteous and helpful, the facility, pool and room were clean and nicely decorated. Easy on and off of the Interstate. I would certainly stay again.

Room was next to the truck parking area next door. Advertised a microwave but it did not work and was not replaced. They use those CFL's that are old and need to warm up for 5-6 minutes to be more than a night light. Get what you pay for and you do not get much these days.

Nice hotel, room could have used a couple of chairs at the table, there was a lazy boy though. The room was clean and a good deal overall. A very good breakfast, boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, fruit, and some other things were provided. Friendly staff. Would stay again as it was a great deal. Pool is a bit small, but fine for a one night stay.

hotel was neat and clean, rooms were well equipped with microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine etc It has a small swimming pool, well heated but the amount of clorine in water was too much location is good as it is close to the highway exit and MC Donalds, Burger king and a gas station is on the walking distance
