A beautiful hotel.
We had a great time in Milwaukee and I'm glad we stayed at the historical Pfister. My mom and dad stayed there on their honeymoon in 1945!

Ground Zero for MKE Nightlife
Spent a lovely weekend at the Pfister. Hadn't been here in a few years, and the hotel is still classy as ever. Tower King room on the 21st was clean, with a sweeping northward view of the city. Bathroom was large, too, with a pocket door between the shower and sink for privacy. Yes, it's an older hotel--nicks on night stands and the occasional carpet stain--but the bed was big and comfy, and we didn't hear any of our neighbors. Location can't be beat. We had cocktails in both Pfister lounges (upstairs and downstairs) and went to dinner within a few blocks both nights. You can pretty much walk to MAM, MKE Public Museum, Third Ward, the Rep, etc. from here.

The bar on the 23rd floor offers an amazing view of the city at night. Get there early, though, as after 10pm it is hard to catch a table.
