Wonderful experience
The Iron Horse is a gorgeous hotel. First class all the way with very eclectic decor, great atmosphere, and excellent food! Worth every penny. We stayed here because of it's proximity to the Harley-Davidson Museum (another top-notch experience), and because of its one-of-a-kind appeal. We weren't disappointed one bit.

Trendy but young Iron Horse Hotel
Rooms were very large and modern. The lobby is very well done with cozy corners, motorcycles and hardwood beams. The lobby bar has outside seating and a pool table. The staff is young, very nice but inexperiences. Room service got our meals wrong every time! They were very sorry but it was not enough to accommodate the mistakes.

Milwaukee Iron Horse Hotel
Marketed as a biker friendly hotel. No way! Bathroom in room not clean. They don't tell you that it's $25 a day to park at the hotel until you get there. Trains outside the window of room. Over priced food and cocktails.

The Only Place to Stay in Milwaukee
This was my first visit to Milwaukee and unfortunately I could only stay at The Iron Horse for one night; I wouldn't have minded an extended stay! This hotel is definitely one of a kind--amazing amenities, beautifully designed rooms, and absolutely helpful and respectful staff. Well worth the few extra dollars I paid!! I will definitely stay here next time I am in town.

Iron Horse IS A ROCK STAR!!!
I've never had a better hotel stay, even at a Four Seasons--EVER! The room, restaurant & bar were the BEST! When I checked out, and later needed to stay another night, they gave me the same rate. Location was near everywhere I wanted to be, including the Harley Davidson Museum.
