Awesome place to stay with some nice history

The room was great! we had the handicap room and while it had bars everywhere, the room was still just awesome. I loved the little features in the room to make it feel a little older and commemorate the old brewery. Staff were very friendly on top of it all.

Very noisy. Very dissapointed.

I was given a room on the first floor. The hallway of first floor rooms runs directly from the lobby that has high ceilings, hard floors and elevators with very loud buzzers. This was a recipe for noise disaster. My room was incredibly noisy. Every time someone walked into the lobby, talked to reception, congregated in the lobby, etc., it could be heard clear as day in the room. What is more, the first floor rooms look onto and are level with the parking lot. So, if you keep your shades open, you are in full view of the foot traffic. That means your noisy room is also dark. Reception told me that they try not to put guests on the first floor, but were too booked to do anything about it. Room service food was ok. The hotel has a couple of interesting things to look at (parts of old brew kettles and arches from the orig. building). Otherwise, noting to see and not worth the stay AT ALL.

One night stay

I arrived on Sept 4, 2014 at 1:30pm after driving for 8 hours. The lady at the desk made a stink about check in isn't until 3:00pm. I said ok, can I leave my luggage here? She checked me in anyway. Then she asked me for my AAA card. I told her I don't have AAA. She said you signed up for AAA discount on the website. I don't know why I would have done that if I don't have AAA. She told me that she could give me AAA price this one time, and not again. I thought to myself, I wont be back a second time, after dealing with you. Room was too expensive for me to be dealing with this. Other than that, the hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. A bit pricey.

Nice rooms but

The rooms are nice but the property itself is isolated as the remaining area continues with an ongoing renovation. Went to Summerfest and bus unloads you about 6 blocks from the hotel in a pretty sketchy area. The bus could have taken passengers around the courthouse and cut off about 2 blocks of that walk. Also, you hear the clomping around in the rooms above as only the sleeping areas are carpeted. It is a little annoying to wake up to early in the morning.

This was my first time to Summerfest and we had a great time. I would stay in a hotel closer to downtown next time. This property is too isolated.

cool hotel in converted brewery

We stayed for one night in June. From the second we walked in the door we were taken aback by the way the old Pabst brewery was converted into this very new ans chic hotel. The front desk clerk was very polite and was able to accommodate our early check in. We stayed in a mezzanine room which is accessible from the second floor up an additional flight of stairs. The front desk told us it was a small flight of stairs, however be warned you will be faced with a very steep metal staircase with at least 15 stairs. I don't recommend this floor if you have heavy luggage. The room was very well appointed. A small kitchenette with a counter height dining table was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was clean and spacious with a stand up shower with great wster pressure. The decor of the room was very nice - industrial/reclaimed looking fixtures including schoolhouse lighting. Bonus - the front desk called 10 after we got in our room. I really appreciate this and it makes me realize how much good customer service is hard to come by. Overall we we very please with this hotel anc would definitely stay again if in Milwaukee.

Not central to anything

We found this hotel to be brand new and had a spacious room. It is away from most commercial establishments - so you will need a car or cab for dinner etc.

Historic comfort

What a fun and unique hotel to stay at in. Milwaukee! The room was top notch and the historic interior space was much nicer than a typical hotel. It was great having a pub attached to the hotel too. We will definitely stay here again.

Who doesn't like beer?

This hotel had PBR decorations everywhere and still had some nostalgia from the old PBR Brewery. The rooms were very modernized, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be back!

I'll be back!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our birthdays at the Brewhouse Inn & Suites and with our affinity for beer, history and a preference for modern industrial decor, couldn't have had a better time. We were like children exploring every corner of this hotel and all the history of the Pabst Brewery. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything you needed (kitchenette). We enjoyed build your own bloody mary's at the pub the next morning after the nice complimentary continental breakfast, then we toured the Best Place and rank it as one of our favorite brewery tours. The only downside was the front desk staff on the night of our check-in. As our first touch-point, she didn't give the hotel the gleaming impression it should have. She was very unprofessional as she complained about the guest on the phone she was just dealing with. Otherwise, the staff upon check-out were great! This would be an awesome event venue too. My suggestion would be to park in the ramp across the street ($7-9 overnight) as we were told the street signs are misleading and you'll get towed. The staff should be proactive about telling you this info. Good thing we asked!
