Poor Maintenance

I was told to park by elevator "B" to take luggage to my 3rd floor room. Elevator was broken and had to tote to elevator "A". 4:30 am, I heard water trickling, walked into bathroom where floor was flooded 1-2" deep from broken toilet tank. I waded through water and shut off feeder valve to tank. While rescuing my toiletries i dropped my toothbrush in toilet water on floor. When I arrived to desk to advise and change rooms, they did not have any toothbrushes for guests. They appeared rather unconcerned about situation and did not offer to help me move. They also did not compensate me for the trouble.

Dump

The water pressure for the shower was purely gravity. There was a cino de mayo party in hotel ball room which literally shook the walls in my room. There were people (not hotel customer) that were smoking pot outside the door to get into the hotel by my room. My room was quite far from the front desk so I parked by another door. Awful experience will never return.

So So...needs cleaning!

Carpet was stained and dirty, bathroom clean and bed was fine. Overall needs a GOOD cleaning. I always check under the bed when we check in and found very dirty, unvacuumed carpet around the bed including croutons on the floor and someone's perscription glasses. Front desk person was very slow and took a phone call from someone in the middle of our checking in, and carried on a conversation while we were waiting. The place needs some help.

ABOVE AVERAGE

I HAD READ OTHER REVIEWS OF THIS HOTEL, I WAS EXPECTING A DUMP. IT WAS NOT. THE ROOM WAS WELL APPOINTED AND CLEAN, THE BED VERY COMFORTABLE, NO REFRIGERATOR BUT GUESS I REALLY DIDN'T NEED ONE FOR JUST ONE NIGHT. I WOULD USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

Over night stay for morning flight

The hallways are lined with marble flooring that leaves the walk to your room cold. The lighting was that of an old office building and the hallway walls seemed dingy. The TV in our room was an old tube TV. The balcony window needed to be cleaned and there was no access to the dirty balcony. The sleep number bed didn't work and the decor was nothing special. The rate for the room was cheap, so you get what you pay for. Good enough to get through one night for an early morning flight if you don't want to spend a lot. The lobby is the nicest part of this hotel. Not much interaction with the staff, but they were professional.

Not what's advertised

I chose this hotel mostly because of the free WiFi and that they had a restaurant on site since I didn't have a car. I had a lot of work that needed to be done. I checked in at 7:45 and was told the restaurant closed at 10. The hotel information book in the room also stated the restaurant was open til 10! I was starving, went downstairs at 8:45 and the restaurant was CLOSED. I tried getting on the WiFi in my room, but it didnt' work. They gave me a different room and it still didn't work. So, No Food and No WiFi(work). So Annoying! I didn't get what I paid for!!! They should have given me a discount, but didnt reimburse for anything missing. i would never stay here again

Went to another hotel.

This is a run down hotel. The lobby picture is deceiving. The computer system was down and we waited 15 min before they just gave us keys and were told to check in later. The halls smelt of dampness, the carpets in the halls and the rooms were stained badly and there were fluids leaking from the heating unit in the room. The wall paper was peeling back in the room and mold was visible in those spots. We decided to leave and stayed elsewhere and our travel company got us a refund. Glad there were other options nearby. Stay away.

Overated

This 1970's Hotel had a medicore update 5-10 years ago, and that is what you see in the pics. Nice Lobby, and Pool area, everything else poor. My room had a toliet that rocked and had a toilet lid from a different toilet (the original one probably broke when the toilet leaned to one side and slid off) the 6.5" ceiling (with pealing paint) in the bathroom makes it hard for tall people to shower. The sleep number bed was awefull tried numbers from 5-100. All bad. Plus when the bed recovers at night, the loud noisy motor wakes you up. The Thermostat on the wall is apparently just for show. While it turns the fan on, temperuature never changes no matter what mode is selected. The hallways are dirty and poorly maintianed. Apparently all the ice machines are broken. The included breakfast was below average, I went to a local grocery store and made my own.

good value

The only complaint was the Sleep Number bed didn't work very well and wasn't very comfortable. Hope it was just in that room.

Never again, not for anyone!

Lovely lobby from the website- a facade. Hall carpets dirty, room carpets dirty, one room HAC didn't work. Mattress hard - no springs at all, felt like I was sleeping on a board. 2" gap under door to hall, cheap toilet paper, kleenex. Breakfast 'coupon' good for eggs or oatmeal plus a small plastic cup of juice. Eggs scorched. Front desk staff disinterested, low competence, needed supervision.
