Comfort and convenience in a downtown landmark
This landmark hotel, adjacent to the Midwest Airlines Center convention facility and surrounded by many other choice downtown attractions, provides a comfortable, relaxed environment for business travelers, tourists, and families alike. We booked our room @ this hotel 3 1/2 months in advance and when we got there they told us that the hotel was over booked and that we were not able to have our king sized room and that they now had for us a room that included a pull out couch and a bed that pulled out of the wall. They still charged us $179.00 for that same room but gave us free complimentary breakfast...big deal, I would have rather had $100 off our room... sleeping in the "closet room" they gave us was totally not worth what we payed. My husband and I went there for a get away and had to sleep in sepirate beds because they were so small. However, we did have a great experience @ the bar. The service was great and so were the bartenders.

Fantastic and Relaxing
If I have the opportunity to travel to Milwaukee again, I will definitely stay at the Hyatt Regency. The staff is superb, friendly, and above all helpful in all matters. The hotel is located within walking distance of many of the famed Milwaukee sites.

Great Location!
Have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. Rennovations are great - and the extra amenities (free toothpaste) are a plus. Location is fantastic. Parking handy, and lots of restaurants and shopping a quick walk. Casino shuttle is also very convenient. Highly recommend!

Calderone Club just out the back door - wonderful homestyle Italian. Capital Grille a short walk for fantastic food as is Buck Bradley's.

Amazing experience!
Had a few drinks @ the bar in the hotel. very friendly bartender, yet didnt impose too much. very clean and beautiful room. No complaints. it was an over all great time here.

Staff were extremely helpful and courteous during our stay. Very clean room and the king bed was soooo comfortable! Good location a short stroll from the river and nearby restaurants. The one thing I didn't like was we didn't receive complimentary wi-fi, it cost around $12 a day.

Great location in the heart of milwaukee
great getaway trip to milwaukee,just to relax and enjoy the city, the hotel was great only to mess it up by paying for the parking, hotel that big should take care of those little details and I bet they will get a lot of customers back again.

Great way to sleep off a Summerfest show
Stayed 1 night so we could head to Summerfest and catch some live music (and great food). It was nice to have a valet at the hotel - no worrying about parking at all. Hotel room was clean and nice, and the staff was very friendly. They helped us find the best way to get to/from the festival ground (which were very close).

Milwaukee experience
We were staying in Milwaukee for a conference held at the Frontier Center Exibit Hall. We appreciated the walkways as it was cold outside and we never had to take a coat. We also enjoyed the mall that could be reached via overhead walkway. At the hotel, we found the food to be fabulous, but it does cost $8 for a bowl of cereal. Now we know we can travel to the mall for a cheaper meal. The room was only average. Our room was the farthest from the elevator (the hotel is HUGE, perhaps 17 flights) so it was a true pain to go down to the lobby or to our conference and back. Ask for a room close to the elevator. Only one ice machine on the floor which also was at the very far end by the elevator. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were something to be desired. Really very little room to move about. Certainly not for the disabled in wheelchairs or walkers as there is not room. We were anxious to get home to our own beds. Bathroom space was limited and only one person could fit at a time. Next time we would choose a different hotel---

It was a long walk through the tunnels to shopping, but how wonderful not to have to battle the weather.
