Hotel of the arts near downtown Milwaukee
This new hotel, strikingly different from the usual Days Inn, offers affordable rates, contemporary decor, and a collection of modern artwork worthy of its Hotel of the Arts designation. Overall, the hotel provides guests with the feel of a more expensive property. City views from many rooms remind guests of the hotel's convenient location to most Milwaukee attractions. Amenities include an on-site restaurant and bar, fitness center, and business center.

Great Stay
We were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the modern clean rooms, and the bar that was open when we got back late at night! Definitely would stay again!!

Hotel was decent, neighborhood is awful.
Billed as Milwaukee's newest "art" hotel the place has been recently remodeled I'm guessing. The common areas, the hallways and lobby were dirty, some sawdust or debris in on the carpets. The room was decent, but while we were sitting in in the room one of the staff opened the door and came in"mistakenly". Made be worried about the security of our stuff. The neighborhood as really bad. While getting something out of the car a drunk came wondering by and passed out on the grass in front of the hotel. There were kids hanging on the corners, shady place. Finally we got 5:00am wake up call from the front desk that we didn't ask for. Wrong room.

Overnight Stay
I would not recommend it to anyone! The picutres on the website look great, but the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.. The bathroom was not clean at all. We didn't get Kleenex or coffee for the little coffee maker. The other guest were unbelievably noisy after mid-night and to top it all off, the fire alarm sounded at 3 am. The positives: Nice breakfast and the shuttle service.

Great For The Value
I decided to stay here to avoid driving home to Chicago in the middle of a snow storm. I wanted a place where I would feel safe and be close to work in the morning. It was perfect for the value. I had everything I needed for one night, and it was quiet. The staff was very nice and friendly. I attempted to eat the free continental breakfast, but sadly that was the one flaw. Other than that the room was clean, and I appreciated the free phone calls since I had forgotten my cell phone at home. Also, the art decor was very modern and stylish.

Order in from NYPD Pizza restaurant, they deliver to your room and the wings were awesome. The vending machines in the hotel take credit cards.

A night away from the kids
The staff allowed an early check-in which was appreciated but the front desk attendant was also handling a phone call reservation at the same time and was irritated with that customer. The bathroom was clean and I liked the waterfall shower head. Bed was very comfortable with a very warm comforter - almost like a synthetic down comforter I have at home. Pillows were a little too firm. The morning breakfast was average, bagels, bread for toast and juice. The staff at check-out was very pleasant. Overall, I would stay here again.

great hotel for price
"boutique" hotel means more modern and more art on the walls. Comfortable beds, showers, large rooms. Hotel staff very friendly and good breakfast. Internet wasn't working.
