The location was walking distance from downtown Milwaukee, which was the main reason I choose it! See full review

We booked this hotel because we needed something cheap for an overnight group trip to a Cubs/Brewers game. The hotel is not too far from the highway so that was a plus. The rest...well.....
The parking lot is free... but also tiny and sketchy. We
found signs all over the place advising NOT to keep personal belongings out in plain view. Also the pictures are very deceiving... when you pull up to the hotel you will notice that it stands out from the rest of its surroundings.
It took forever to check in because they lost a reservation for the guest in front of us who was attempting to stay in the hotel for the same reason we were. There was one clerk at the front desk who was either still in training because he had NO idea what to do and had zero customer service experience. He kept telling the guest that we needed to wait until the manager arrived for his shift so he could help and the clerk basically stared at everyone waiting in line for 20 minutes until his manager finally arrived and took over. It was also pretty annoying that another staff member (a housekeeper I think) was simply standing there from behind the desk and watching the drama unfold. Glad we could entertain her.
When we got up to our room the housekeeper was still cleaning it - how do you check your guests into a room if the room is still dirty!?
Everything about this hotel's layout and design was just awkward. The business center was a single computer that could be located in the restaurant/bar/breakfast area/game room/lobby. The light switches in the wall at the head of the bed is a terrible design flaw. If you propped your back or your head against the wall with a pillow the light shuts off because it is a flat switch.
If you are looking for something cheap and clean this place will do the trick but I dont recommend bringing anyone you want to impress.
This hotel was good for the money, highly recommended if you are traveling alone, the breakfast is good, the people on reception were not much friendly they were ok. The room was good, I think could be little bit more clean.
The location was good
for the money
Overall good value for the price. I only stayed one night. Friendly staff, nice variety of options on the breakfast bar. Clean contemporary styled rooms with a comfortable bed. Only downside, was the untidy condition of the entry way. It was
littered with cigarette butts and what appeared to be vomit.
Upon arrival, everything seemed okay. The neighborhood wasn't the best, but we decided to still give it a shot.
-Sketchy lobby with random people lingering.
-The halls smelled.
-Hotel keys stopped working every night, so we had to keep
going downstairs to reset them.
-Floors had not been vacuumed with food left over.
-Cigarette burn holes in the blankets, even after we changed them OURSELVES since housekeeping was gone for the night
-Stains on the mattress.
-Shower tiles broken.
-Desk chair had white stains that we stayed away from.
-It was somewhere to sleep during our stay in the city.
If I recommend this place, I would be sinning.
